It's been awhile since I've done a beauty post so you KNOW I had to let you know about MAC's latest collection that is totally stealing my heart right now. I'm completely obsessed with warm colors and this collection is nothing short of amazing, plus the bright orange knitted sweater/hoodie is to die for! MAC launched the Après Chic limited edition collection right after Christmas, so it's now available until February 6, 2013 (so that means you have less than two weeks to get your hands on these beauties)! Check out the collection below:

This gorgeous look starts with luminous M·A·C Mineralize Skinfinish and Mineralize Blush applied with the 187 Duo Fibre Face Brush. Use the 287 Duo Fibre Eye Shadow Brush to build layers of dimensional colour with Mineralize Eye Shadow. Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm packs lips with moisture, while adding the right pop of colour and shine. And, because eventually the mittens will come off, Nail Lacquer in Dangerously Fun heats things up in blazing berry red.

Our FLOTUS kicked off Inaugural weekend with her adorable daughters Sasha and Malia at the Kid's Inaugural in a Alexander McQueeen blouse accompanied with her flawless bangs.

How cute are they?
Our FLOTUS was right by husband's side as he was sworn into office for the second term wearing dark blue dress by Reed Krakoff.
FLOTUS sparkled at the Inaugural Reception over the weekend in a Michael Kors dress that complimented her amazing body. She looked smashing!
The First family were all color coordinated as they began their day by attending church before the Inaugural Ceremony. Our FLOTUS was sporting a very interesting dress coat by American Designer, Thom Browne and solver heels by J. Crew.
This coat is EVERYTHING! Thom Browne is known for his menswear, the fabric of Mrs. Obama's dress coat was made from silk ties. How cool?! LOVEEE.
THIS moment.

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Beyonce Sings National Anthem at 2013 Inauguation

Although I'm hearing whispers that she lip synced this performance, it was incredible to watch! We all know Beyonce can SANG' so I'm not sweating it....enjoy :)

Last year, I introduced you to my on-going project also known as My Vision Book complete with all the things I aspired, desired and ultimately wanted in my life for that year. It's that time again to add to the book all those things I want to accomplish for 2013. I really took alot of thought into creating the next two pages of this book because of course my dreams and goals have changed and my outlook on life has changed as well. Hope you all have set your goals for 2013, we are almost into the second month of year already...CRAZY! See more pictures below :)
I have a magazine addiction, I can never get rid of old issues with amazing pictures or articles I still read. The sad part is that this is not even HALF of my magazine collection. SMH!

When your creating your own Vision Book/Board it's important to have tons of magazines, newspapers, markers, scissors, stickers and of course glue to hold it all together! This is such a great way to be creative and really draw inspiration frm words and pictures.

Remember my first page of my 2012 Vision Book?! I'm sad I didn't accomplish everything I set out to do but it's totally okay because I'm definitely on the right track :)

.....Page 2 of my '2012 Vision Book'....

In 2013 I hope to 'Ball So Hard...' that I fall head over (Christian Louboutin high) heels in LOVE while traveling to places I've never been while ultimately 'finding myself' in a peaceful mindset. I desire to wear red lipstick for no reason at all and continue to 'Shine' bright like a diamond all while working out to keep this body fit & fabulous of course. Get my drift? :)

Page 2 of My Vision Book is filled with some things I want in my life of course. Charity is definitely on the top of my list this year, I want to maximize my blessings by blessing others with my Style & Grace of course while smelling the flowers while I can. I'm kind of obsessed with Jimmy Choo at the moment and can't wait until 2-18 to wear my special shoes all while looking fabulous! As you can see my mind is made up and my heart is in the right place, yeah yeah.... *cues Desitny's Child*

Hi Guys!
I'm finally back to blogging and I must say that I've definitely missed talking you all!!! I've been super busy this month and had a bit of technical issues with but I'm back to doing what I absolutely love and adore. Since my last post I've begun finding inspiration and motivation by attending more noteworthy events, networking with young professionals, building a better spiritual connection with God and of course consuming myself with all things fashion. 2013 started off just the way I'd imagined, I'm hoping the momentum continues through out the year.
The photo above was taken two weekends ago as I attended the Black Opulence Celebrity Gifting Suite for the BET Honors with two of my girlfriends. I'm definitely into the 'Winter White' movement right now and decided to wear my white leather pants for the first time (I've had it sitting in my closet for months now). The event was great and I got to meet We TV's Trina Braxton while snagging an awesome gift bag filled with beauty products. Needless to say, I've been bouncing all over the place since the clock stroke 12am on January 1st. I can only anticipate what February has in store for me (Fashion Week/Birthday). From happy hours, birthday parties to Inauguration events I'm on a total high right now. Although I feel like I've been on a whirlwind this month I can happily say that I'm back, back to blogging....

WHAT I WORE: New Years Eve

Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope 2013 is off to a great start for you, I know it's been amazing for me. This NYE I brought it in with a few of my closest friends and I must say it was a GREAT NIGHT. I didn't want to overthink NYE this year, I just wanted to be surrounded by good people that had positive vibes. I have a good feeling about 2013 for some reason...I don't know why, but I'm excited for all that's to come :)
Since the theme of my friend's house party was 'Sequins and Bow ties' I decided to dress the part and of course add some faux fur because it was a bit chilly that night. I'm completely obsessed with my MAC 'Cyber' lipstick, it just makes me feel like such the rebel! Corny I know, lol. But I wanted my look to be very glam yet effortless, I mean it's've got to throw on some sparkle!

Pardon, my mirror photographer was busy, lol! But here's the skinny on my look:
White Blazer from Express
White faux fur stole from Urban Outfitters
Sequin Jumpsuit from BCBG Maxazria
Blue suede 'Anouk' heels by Jimmy Choo
Big Envelope clutch from ASOS
Jewels (gifted)

I was kind of obsessed with my hair....I'm still amazed how long my hair has gotten since I went natural two years ago. My oh my how times flies!

I'm finishing up my vision board for 2013 and can't wait to share it with you, stay tuned!
P.S. I'm going to be an Aunty again, how awesome is that? Congrats to my sissy! #Hello2013
