THE RECAP: 6th Annual New Friends Holiday Party!

Cheers to a very successful party!

Ladies & Gentlemen...I'm back and as per usual there has been a lot happening! I took a mini-hiatus to spend much needed time to myself, nurture a few relationships, work a little harder, learn some new things, plan a few trips and most importantly plan my favorite party of the year! This is our 6th year hosting the New Friends Party and needless to say, it's always a lot of work in the planning process (a little bit of stressing lol) but somehow, we always manage to pull of a successful event! Our planning/brainstorming usually happens at the tail end of the summer where we start to meet periodically to discuss logistics and responsibilities of committee members. Our goal is to strive for greatness yet keeping in mind that tis' the season to give back, so we always involve a different charity each year to spread our wings, you know and to ensure that our party is one of those parties people can't stop talking about. We are all about making new connections and having so much fun that you can leave all your problems at home and come and turn up with us (in the classiest way possible of course) lol.

2015 New Friends Host Committee: Pamela, Derrick, Giorgio, Stephanie, myself & Andre (not pictured).

This year was no different and I have to say this was by far one of the best parties we've planned thus far. From the planning committee (shout-out to Andre, Derrick, Giorgio, Pam & Stephanie) down to the amazing charity organization we chose (Ashley thank you for educating us on the Junior Achievement Board), the photo-booth (Capcity Booth we will be back!) and DJ 5'9 for the back-to-back music our friends thoroughly enjoyed! I couldn't have asked for a better way to bring in the holidays than with a few old and new friends. So without further delay, here is an exclusive sneak peek into the 6th Annual New Friends Holiday Party!

Here's the quick skinny on my look this year, I was inspired by Khloe Kardashian's Great Gatsby look she rocked for her mom's 65th birthday party here. Although I don't have 16K coins to spend on a fabulous dress and bejeweled headpiece I knew the era I wanted to bring to life. Huge thank you to my glam squad Lola for the flawless face and Skyler for my blunt hair cut.

HEAD TO TOE:

Headpiece from Womens Exotic Cleopatra Beaded Belly Dance Head Cap (I did DIY project once I received the headpiece by cutting off the dangling beads to create a more chic and effortless look)
Earrings, midi-rings & bracelet from ALDO accessories
Clutch by ZARA
Shoes (not pictured) are Jimmy Choo

Now let's get back to this fabulous party that went down last weekend....
