Donna Summer (born LaDonna Adrian Gaines on December 31, 1948 – May 17, 2012) was beautiful singer and songwriter who gained prominence during the disco era of the 1970s. Ms. Summer's was a five-time Grammy Award winner was the first artist to have three consecutive double albums reach number one on the US Billboard chart. And she also, charted four number-one singles in the United States within a thirteen-month period. Her untimely death is a huge loss to those who grew up listening to her soulful music, she will be forever missed. We'll miss you Ms. Summers!
