Andre 3000 Talks Style (VIDEO)
Best quote 'take away' quote:
"Style is taking what you have, kind of what you are given and playing with it....Finding what’s in you and pulling it out and its something that you have that nobody else has. You just kind of got to love it and nurture it and say this is me and I'm just going to blast it out to the world!"

SHOEGASM: Christian Louboutin Flat Spikes Sneakers
via: MeetsObsession
Like its red-lacquered heels, these shoes are anything but subtle. Jet-black patent leather with silver metal spikes decorate the top and sides of the shoe. And this time, the soles of the shoe are solid white.

Man of Style & Grace: Pharrell Williams in D&G Fur Coat
Music Producer & Fashion Icon Pharrell Williams was one of many guest at a VIP dinner at the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Moscow, Russia for designers Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana (Dolce & Gabbana). He wore a black tuxedo with a jaw-dropping D&G fur coat that sunned the crowd! In my Nicki Minaj voice "Damn he just did it on them"...LOL!

Man of Style & Grace: Chris Brown for GQ Italia, April 2011
Singer, Actor and Artist known as the "Triple-Threat" Chris Brown did a photo-shoot for GQ Italia Magazine by Kai Z. Feng. Styled by Andrea Tenerani, he appears in all black, wearing fashionable labels like Dolce & Gabanna, Giorgio Armani, Roy Rogers, and Tom Ford. I'm definitely loving the black & white contrast! Check out a few pictures of Chris Brown's Style & Grace:

The "Marvin Gaye" Affect: Denim-On-Denim
Singer and songwriter, Marvin Gaye not only serenaded crowds of "lovers" but he also made an impact in the world of fashion. Think about it! Have you ever seen a man so cool wear a denim shirt with denim jeans? He classic style has transformed the world we know today, you can give credit to Fashion Houses or Designers without looking at their influences. Marvin Gaye made it "cool" to wear denim on denim, and he made no apologies. With a charismatic smile and a voice that could be heard (and identified) miles away his style was just as impactful.
Today, denim shirts are probably the most popular item on the Spring/Summer essential list. Whether your a man or woman, you've appreciated a great denim shirt in your lifetime! Although Marvin Gaye left us in the 1980s his vintage denim style and infamous "red hat" still has an impact on us today.

Man of Style & Grace: Sammy Davis Jr.
SO, I've decided to start spotlighting Great MEN of Style & Grace. Its always important to understand and appreciate your roots *firm believer*. I realized that I have quite the male followers and I want them to feel included in my posts. Every week I will spotlight at least one
Man of Style & Grace. Today I want to dedicate it to the legendary Sammy Davis Jr. He is truly an ICON and inspiration to fashion that is seen nowadays. Raise your hand if your parents or grandparents were Mr. Davis fans? *raises hands*
Wonder where your grandfather, uncle, father or brother learned his impeccable taste? My answer would be from the man who birthed cool, sexy and swag!! Well groomed and manicured men have been making their way through history books, can't you tell?!?
"A sharp-dressed Rat Pack member, and an all-around stand-up guy. The first African-American to grace GQ's cover. He wore the kind of stuff we'd wear today: slim ties, tailored suit jackets, tapered pants. I love how unguarded and irreverent he is here, tap dancing on his hotel-room table, in a high-cropped one-button gray flannel suit and Beatle boots. He was never afraid to step outside of the box and do things his own way."
