FLOTUS and President Obama welcomed French President Francois Hollande to the White House for an official state dinner. POTUS was looking dapper per his usual but it was his beloved wife that made the crowd go WOW after seeing her in this gown, are you a fan? I think she looks flawless *Michelle, tell em'...we flawless* lol. The color is perfect and the embroidery is decadent, can you ask for a more fashionable first lady? She's the best! FIRST LADY STYLE: Michelle Obama Turns Heads In Marchesa Gown At The State Dinner

There is ALWAYS something happening in the nation's capitol, especially at the White House. President Obama and FLOTUS the First Lady of the United States welcomed Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife, Samantha Cameron, at the United Kingdom State Dinner yesterday afternoon. Of course the highlight of the night was Michelle Obama's off-shoulder silk teal dress made by the legendary British designer Georgina Chapman (who was a guest at the dinner) for American fashion house Marchesa. The gown was stunning and our  FLOTUS also donned a bold blue statement necklace by Tom Binns, cascading with beads. Check out a few pictures of the Obama's, Cameron's and of course the head turning Marchesa dress worn by the beautiful FLOTUS below:

Michelle Obama Wears Alexander McQueen to State Dinner

Our President Barack Obama and his fabulous first lady, Michelle Obama looked very sharp at the State Dinner! The dinner was held to honor China in the presence of its president, Hu Jintao. Barack looked his typical GQ-self as his beautiful wife wore a flawless floor-length gowned that wowed the guests. With little make-up and her hair pulled back, Michelle is truly the epitome of class and sophistication.

Want to know more about this fabulous dress?
....The dress was created by Sarah Burton, who succeeded McQueen at his fashion house following the designer's death almost one year ago. Mrs. Obama's choice of red was widely seen as a recognition of the color's connection to the symbolism of happiness and prosperity in Chinese culture (iLOVE).

Obama Style

On May 19th, 2010 the Obama's hosted the White House State Dinner (minus party crashers) to welcome Mexican President Felipe Calderon and his wife Margarita Zavala (not pictured). I love Michelle Obama's dress its MAGNIFICENT and the royal blue pairs perfectly with President Barack Obama's suit.
