Following in the footsteps of Gucci and Jean Paul Gaultier, Versace has announced that it is launching a line for children. Set to make its début for Spring/Summer 2012, the collection will cater to mini Donatallas and Giannis aged 0 to 12 who are looking for a "rock and roll twist" via Medusa-head logos, Greek key motifs, and bold prints."Young Versace complements the fashion offering of the house and is part of the worldwide development strategy initiated with great success in the last year," Gian Giacomo Ferraris, CEO of Versace Group, said in a press release. The label—which will offer a sneak peek of the line at Florence's Pitti Immagine Bimbo this June—shuttered its previous kids' line in 2004.
