BEST DRESSED: The MET Costume Gala 2015

Last night I was glued to my phone like my life depended on it lol...it was only for The MET Costume Gala that I love and adore. When your favorite designers, fashion idols and celebrities are in one place at the same damn time it was mandatory that I tuned in for a fashion forward night. With all that is going on in the world (#prayforbaltimore) my reprieve is fashion. Every year The MET Costume Gala has a theme and this year it was China: Through A Looking Glass. I thought this theme was perfect and some of my favorites gave some serious OMG moments. Check out my favorite looks of the evening below:

The Queen of the MET Costume Gala was Sarah Jessica Parker of course in this custom H&M gown that she collaborated on along with this age-defying headpiece by the one and only Phillip Treacy. Seriously, she was the damn MET GALA. She started off the red carpet so fabulous that she was my all time favorite look of the night. She matched the theme perfect, seriously who does it better than SJP?! She delivers like no other. #50AndGotDamnFABULOUS

Left to Right: The runners up for the MET Costume Gala were Bee Shafer looking all but of fabulous in this one of a kind Alexander McQueen dress (totally spot on for the theme) and her hair to perfection.

Then, there was the fashion goddess herself, Solange rocking an interesting dress by Giles Deacon that I really found intriguing. She's takes fashion risks that I appreciate.

Karolina Kurkova was stunner in Tommy Hilfiger, those legs are to die for. She totally got the theme and made it into her own. I'm obsessed her shoes, the Guiseppe Zanotti was the perfect shoe pairing! #ModelSwag

Left to Right (top): Emily Ratajkowski was a adorable chic and effortless in this beautiful Topshop dress. Although she didn't totally embody theme I loved how beautiful and detailed this dress was.

BBHM island gal, Rihanna showed up and SHOWED completely out! I literally screamed and went HAM in my group chat when she arrived. The fashion icon wore a Gus Pei custom made coat that had turned the red carpet yellow. ONLY Rihanna could do that and do it so well! She was the drama we needed. Definitely on theme.

Left to Right (bottom): Rosie Huntington-Whiteley rocked my whole world in this beautifully Versace gown. Her body looked AHHHMAZING, she makes me want to run 20 miles everyday. Stunning for sure!

Kendall Jenner was uber chic in this Calvin Klein dress, I loved the see-through-dress. She's always so effortless. Go Kendall!

Fashion Icon on the rise, Bella Hadid is wearing Topshop and my oh my did she look great. I'm obsessed with this topknot and her make-up. Serveeee!

Left to Right: Bingbing delivered CHINA realness and I must say that it was PERFECTION! Gold was the color of the night and she worked it so well.

Kim Kardashian went ultra glam in this Roberto Cavalli gown (similar to the one Beyoncé wore to the MET Gala 2012). She wore it well and her sleek pony made up for the fact that I've seen this dress before. Great look KKW!

Zendaya is such a beauty and her dress was so age appropriate and served it's purpose very well. She wore a Fausto Puglisi high-low dress and jeweled it up pretty well. Her make-up was amazing! Oh how I love Zendaya!

Then, there was the QUEEN BEYONCE who showed up right before (well maybe it did) the red carpet was over in this drop-dead Givenchy Haute Couture gown. She took my breath away with her amazing figure and sleek pony, I couldn't stop starring. She broke the internet (literally), and her dress, make-up and hair gave me Geisha. SLAYONCE!

BEST DRESSED: The 57th Grammy Awards

Happy Monday!! Last night I got the chance to tune into the 57th Annual Grammy Awards with a few friends after a much needed Sunday Funday. Although I missed the red carpet, I was able to watch a majority of the show and I have to say that it was really good this year. I really loved Common & John Legend's performance, Beyoncé took us to church and Sam Smith and Mary J. Blige was perfect, and of course Kanye "trying" to take away Beck's award because Beyoncé didn't win was EPIC, why is he so funny?!  Anyway, in fashion related news I was really impressed with what I saw on the red carpet this year, check out my favorites below:

Katy Perry dazzled in this Zuhair Murad dress, how perfect was this on her?! A great look for her!

Beyoncé stayed true to her style in this Proenza Schouler gown. Her hair and jewels were perfection!

Taylor Swift brought the legs out in this Elie Saab dress. She totally werked this look, the pop of color with her sandals was spot on!

This is by far my favorite look on Nicki Minaj thus far. The Barbie took a plunge in this Tom Ford dress, everything about this look is perfect. Less is certainly more!

Rita Ora sparkled like no other in this Prada one-of-a-kind gown.

Chrissy Teigen almost never misses the mark, she looked like a total angel in this Emilio Pucci gown.

Jhene Aiko went for a feathery princess look in this Alberta Ferretti dress. Gorgeous!

Jessie J. wore a beautiful sheer Ralph & Russo gown that I'm still swooning over. FLAWLESS!

Style Icon on the rise, Zendaya Coleman opted for a cropped hair do and a one-shoulder Vivenne Westwood dress. Kudos to her stylist, this is an AMAZING look on her.

*drum roll please*..Mrs. Kim Kardashian West stole the entire show in this Jean Paul Gaultier gold gown. As of recent, Kim decided to chop her signature locks and I couldn't be happier to see her pull it off of this very beautiful gown. She said she was styled by her hubby, Kanye (not surprised) and I'm loving it all. #allGOLDeverything

Kendal Jenner made a risqué red carpet arrival and although I was on the fence because this dress ages her a little I think she rocked it perfectly.

Kylie Jenner was also quite the stunner this week in this beaded orange dress. Kudos to their stylist, Monica Rose she keeps them in the hottest looks!

BEST DRESSED: American Music Awards 2013

The American Music Awards took place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California Sunday night and the red carpet was full of unforgettable moments. Since I was unable to watch the awards show I got a chance to catch up on all the glam happening on the red carpet and managed to compile a list my favorite looks of the night. Who was on your best dressed list?

Christina Aguilera kept it classy in this very old Hollywood glam look. White is in this season, just in case you forgot. #newrules

Kendall and Kylie Jenner stayed true to their style and kept things very black & white.

Naya Rivera came to WIN in this very sexy black gown. I'm obsessed with that gold cuff.

Nicole Richie slayed the red carpet in cut-out white dress. I'll take that clutch ; )

Ke$ha actually caught my eye in a good way, I really love the drama of the long leg and hair.

With her bobbi pins (also known as the "dubbie wrap") in tow, Rihanna managed to still look fabulous while accepting the ICON award! Stuntin' on ya at 25 years old, I'm not mad at her...

Taylor Swift took the night in this mini gold number while copping a few awards herself.

*drum roll*.....My absolute favorite look of the night was on Zendaya Coleman! How perfect is this look? I love the one shoulder shirt paired perfectly with the long flowing hair coupled with silver accents. She nailed it, what a Stylista on the rise.

Zoe Saldana stayed trendy but sophisticated in this sheer dress that I'm still swooning over. I need her hair regimen ASAP, it's just so perfect.
