MY INSTA-WEEK: September 9-15th, 2012

WOW, September is flying by! I cannot believe that we almost into the next month. I've been running all around this month while trying to balance work, school, fashion blogging and having a social life...let me be the first to say, it's not as easy as it looks. YOU think you know but, you really have no idea how crazy my life has been (in a positive way). Last week, was a little insane as I found myself at back in the classroom, birthday events, fashion anniversaries, working at Jimmy Choo and of course going to work!  I took my insane week and put it on my favorite iphone app...INSTAGRAM. MY INSTA-WEEKEND: July 28-29th, 2012

HAPPY MONDAY!

I had such a jam-packed weekend full of events, so glad I could make them all! I'm still adding apps to my iphone so stay tuned for more of my fancy filters and collages! Check out my weekend below:

I kicked off my Saturday afternoon at church for Crystal's Discipleship Graduation with Terrin and Wenisha! It was an amazing ceremony and was such a privilege to see my friend graduate into a sisterhood and fellowship at church. Congrats again, Crystal! #GirlfriendsWithGod

After a quick outfit change I headed into the city to hang out with the fam... I wore a orange cut-out dress from SoHo; Aldo heels; LV speedy and hoop-earrings by BEBE.   

It was a family affair for my cousin's girlfriend, Niambi! We celebrated her 30th birthday on the rooftop of the Beacon Hotel. Fun times all around!

After the day party, we hit the pool at the Capital Liason for Wenisha's week-long birthday celebration! I absolutely loved the pool and wished we could've stayed until the sun all the way down but Mother Nature had different plans....oh well. Lots of fun in the sun this weekend, definitely looking forward to next weekend's craziness...I'll be heading up all the way up North! #STAYTUNED

Happy Tuesday!

I'm almost a month in with my new iphone and I'm totally loving it, who would've ever thought THIS old school gal would appreciate technology so much? LOL! Well I've downloaded my apps and found new ways of staying busy and needless to say INSTAGRAM has stolen my heart. I decided to participate in my ever Photo Challenge through Essence Magazine, it was alot of fun and interesting. Besides the Photo-Challenge, I also celebrated my cousin's birthday amongst other celebrations like MyFashionPower.com 2 year anniversary and kicked it with family & friends. Tell Me I'm Your National Anthem....

Happy Birthday America!!

Yesterday was filled with great food, even better drinks and my favorite people that I love & adore! I spent the morning whipping up a fab meal (mac n' cheese!) for my family before heading over to my cousin's house for a super cute Family BBQ (Thanks Shalice! YOU'RE amazing) and then I jetted to DC to watch the fireworks and catch up with new/old friends. My day started and ended exactly how I wanted it to...how awesome is that?! I'm hoping everyone had a good time as well :)
