Happy Hour earlier this week with my girls!

Earlier this week I got the chance to catch up with my girlfriends over cocktails and amazing food, it was just what I needed to get me through this week! With so much on our plate these days and our schedules always conflicting it was really nice to see their faces and reunite for a few hours. What a great week it has been and to top it off Scandal came back #happygirl Did you guys watch? And I also watched How to get away with Murder too, I think that maybe added to my Thursday line up. It's CBC week here in DC, so I plan to partake in some event  this weekend among catching up with some friends before my much anticipated trip! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend, I hear the weather will be nice...Indian Summer? I'll take that.

Happy Friday: ALMOST Time to Spring Forward!

 

I'm hoping this 'Coldest Winter Ever' stint happening in DC is coming to an end, I miss wearing short shorts and sandals instead of my big coat, scarf and gloves. Seriously, I've been waiting for the weather to break and it looks like the time might have come (**crosses fingers**) so I'm happy! This weekend is suppose to get up to the 60s so that means windows and sunroof down...Thank God. Are you guys ready for Spring/Summer? I think I'm more excited for my trips since I've been longing to go on a vacation, so as of now I have three lined up and I can't wait (bikini season, here I come!). It's almost time to transition that closet and embrace new Spring trends, are you ready? In the meantime between time don't forget to set your clock forward on Sunday it's officially daylight saving time! I hope everyone enjoys their weekend, I'm working on another "Talk That Talk Tuesday" article that I can't wait to share with you all next week! Stay tuned :)

Last weekend, I celebrated my sister's birthday with the family! I love getting together for special occassions like this...I'm one out of six siblings so it's good times when we get together. My sister turned the big 4-0 and when I say she looks AMAZING, I truly mean it. She is everything I hope to be at 40 years old, what a blessing it has been to be her sister. Again, Happy Birthday Simmone!Family over anything, KNOW ME!

Happy Happy Friday Everyone! It's been a bit of a crazy week for me...started back up grad school again, trying to finalize birthday plans, and trying to balance a 9-5 work schedule and still make it to  few social events in lieu of fashion week. I'm totally stuck in MD until my birthday so I'm stalking Style.com and Vogue.com for my New York Fashion week fix in between my semi-busy schedule. I decided to hang out with my friends Wednesday at the Civil Cigar Bar in Chevy Chase, Maryland...the atmosphere was perfect and of course the champagne helped :) I opted for a more casual look since I've been on the move all week (Oxford Blood T-shirt from H&M, Eagle bird necklace from ZARA, Boyfriend denims from ZARA & heels from Cusp). I hope you have a great weekend, I'll be working overtime on getting lots of posts done next week since I'll be taking a few days off to celebrate my birthday.....10 days and counting!!!!

Happy Friday: MY FAVORITE MEMORIES OF 2012

2012 has been an amazing year for me, BUT I'm totally looking forward to all that 2013 has in store! I've had some great "moments" that have happend to me this year and wanted to show you it through pictures of course, I'm sure I'm missing some other epic moments but I must say that I love my family & friends soooo much and thank them for making my 2012 so great!
