An estimated 1.8 million people died from AIDS in 2010 with another 34 million living with the disease by the end of that same year. Offering a helping hand in the epidemic is fashion giant H&M who will release their Fashion Against AIDS Spring 2012 collection beginning April 26.
This is H&M’s fifth go-round in the fight against HIV/AIDS. In the past, H&M has collaborated with infinite talented designers to help with their initiative which has raised over 45 million thus far. On April 26th you can expect expect to see a variety in pants, shorts, outerwear, shoes, beachwear and ethnic prints sure to make your Spring season one to remember. This collection will be available in-stores and online for purchase.
We hear that at least 25% of the proceeds from the Fashion Against AIDS Spring 2012 collection will go to Designers Against AIDS, MTV Staying Alive Foundation, United Nations Population Fund and YouthAIDS.
