WATCH WEDNESDAY: Being Mary Jane Finale [EPISODES 8 & 9]

Did you watch Being Mary Jane last night? Better yet have you been watching at all?! I was glued to the screen for two hours last night in several group chats and tweeting my life away as the two-part finale of one of my favorite shows came to an ending. BET has a gem on their hands!

Because I love my readers so much, I wanted to share the finale episodes with you all! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below :)

I'm hoping BET renews the contract for Being Mary Jane and gives us a Season 2! Kudos to Gabrielle Union for doing an amazing job, she's definitely a woman to watch. In other news, are you ready for Scandal tomorrow? I mean, we've only been having withdrawal for 2 months now!

RECAP: Style'N Fall Segment with Let's Talk Live DC!

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to model one of my favorite looks for Fall 2013 with some beautiful women that are just as passionate as I'am about fashion. Fashion Stylist, Naina Singla styled all of the models including me for the "Let's Talk Live" TV segment. I've done a modeling TV segment before so I was very excited when I was asked to do it again. Check out a few pictures from the TV segment below:

The signature "Schuntel fix your hair" move...I'm obsessed with making sure all of my hair is in the right place, but at least I looked fabulous doing it while showing off an amazing statement necklace :)

After a successful segment on "Let's Talk Live" we were all smiles!

All of the models! What a fun way to start my day, I really enjoy TV segments like this and hope to do more. Thanks to Whitney Stringer PR for putting this all together, she's amazing!

My entire outfit including the jewels can be found at www.nordstrom.com! If you're looking for the perfect work dress for Fall/Winter you need to go to Nordstrom (I'm not getting paid to say this) because they have a lot of amazing pieces that could work for any working woman on the move.

When TV Makes A Fashionable Comeback: Saks Fashion Promo for ABC's 'Scandal'

We're less than a week away from the Season 3 Premiere of SCANDAL and I'm so excited!! In addition, to clutching your pearls and intense love making scenes plus loads of action-packed drama you will also see "The Olivia Pope" (Kerry Washington) wearing some designer studs as Saks Fifth Avenue has teamed up with the hit series to do some fashion promo. The day before the Season 3 hits the TV screens, Scandal's star Kerry Washington, costume designer Lyn Paolo, and series creator Shonda Rhimes will host a premiere party at the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York City. The nationwide campaign will launch at the Saks flagship in NYC, in addition to a very Scandal-influenced window display with clothes from Giorgio Armani, Donna Karan, Michael Kors, and many more labels said to be worn by "The Olivia Pope" this season. I'm really excited to get into this political drama as well as Olivia's stylish looks this season, should be a great season ahead! Don't forget to set your DVR for Thursday, October 3rd at 10pm est for a very fashionable comeback :)Thursday, October 3, at 10pm ET/PT on ABC

COVER GIRL: Kerry Washington Is 'Hollywood's Best Kept Secret' for Elle Magazine, June 2013

The Hottest Actress in Hollywood, Kerry Washington shows off her petite frame for Elle Magazine's June 2013 issue. Dare I say she's serving us Olivia Pope style in this grey cropped cardigan and red matte lip. I'm totally in love with Kerry Washington's brains and beauty and I'm so proud of her being a trailblazer for African American women. Check out quotes from her interview with Elle below:

Cashmere cardigan & plaid shorts by Marc Jacobs; Bra by Carine Gilson Lingerie Couture; Diamond earrings by Harry Winston & Bracelet by Ana Khouri.

Jacket by Giorgio Armani; Shorts by Levi's  Diamond necklace by Piaget
"I was a kooky theater kid, silly and goofy and academic."

Skirt and earrings, belt by Balmain; Crewneck by A|X Armani Exchange and Pumps by Christian Louboutin.
"I'm the luckiest broad in Hollywood now. To be the lead actor on Scandal and to be in the highest-earning Tarantino movie- I don't get to ask for more."

Skirt by Tom Ford; Shirt by Blk Dnm; Brooches from Beladora.com and Ring by Piaget.

"I imagined I'd be a clinical psychologist, with a focus on how performance shapes identity. I'd figure out ways to use role-playing in the healing of people."

Embroidered tweed jacket by Giambattista Valli & Cotton denim shirt, Blk Dnm.

I MISS SCANDAL: Favorite Outfits Worn by Olivia Pope (Season 2)

Anyone other than me going through Scandal withdraws? My Thursday nights just aren't the same anymore and I'm totally anticipating the next episode (scheduled to air March 21st). I absolutely love Kerry Washington's style and a little obsessed with her character Olivia Pope's "Washingtonian Style" as well. Olivia seems to embody style, poise, class and of course minimalism in her looks through out the season which totally mirrors Washington, D.C. work uniform. Check out a few of my favorite outfits worn by THE 'Olivia Pope' herself so far this season:

Blazer PERFECTION.

MODEL FOR THE DAY: CBS/WUSA9 New Years Eve TV Segment

This morning I had the chance to claim my two minutes of model stardom on CBS/WUSA9 News for their New Years Eve segment with Carine Krawiec. I had so much fun being a 'Model for the Day' with other local bloggers as we showed off looks from Carine's Bridal Atelier, Urban Chic, Wink and other fabulous boutiques. My morning began at 3am as I dashed over to Karma Lounge to get glammed up (Thanks Isabelle & Peggy) and try on my sparkly dress and super cute fur coat :) See pics below:
