HALLOWEEN 2015: Pink Power Ranger Edition!

Call me Kimberly!!! I morphed into my favorite super hero from the 90s, PINK POWER RANGER and of course I gave her a 2015 upgrade with my fuchsia Jimmy Choo heels. I mean, why not?! Halloween was a complete marathon of events (which is the constant theme in my life lol) and it was surely a night to remember! Check out a few pictures from my night and the amazing costumes my friends and I had on. It's Morphin' time.....

My bestie Terrin was Poison Ivy! She rocked it...this was my first stop of the night. Live music and great food made for an amazing start to a great night :)

Poison Ivy, Pink Ranger, Fire Woman & Spider Woman :)

We still talkin' teams? Love these girls! #superHERoes

Then there was the burlesque show at SAX! Oh what a night...nothing but laughs lol.

TRIFECTA! #POWERtothepeople

Couldn't ask for a better crew full of super heroes! Ended our night at The Park lounge, it's sort of like tradition. Oh whaaaat a night!

Halloween was just a start to a great weekend, I also attended the Fashion With A Purpose fashion show Sunday so I'll be posting lots of pics/video from the show. I officially have the case of Mondays and it's back to business...talk to you guys later! xo-

HAUTE WEDNESDAY: Pumpkin Style!

Happy Wednesday!

It's been a little while since I've blogged but I've been crazy busy (per usual) at my new job! Yes, I got a new job and it's as a Stylist for Rent the Runway in Georgetown, DC (so come by and let me style you)! So my apologies for neglecting this job, but as you can tell I've been wearing many hats lately. I'll be back next week with a recap from the Fashion With A Purpose Event and from my Halloween adventures. I had to share these awesome pumpkins with you that I saw online the other day. Are you in the Halloween spirit yet? Don't these pumpkins make you want to dress up?! I finally got my costume and I couldn't be more excited to dress up and have a girls day/night out. We all decided to be Superheroes this year (can't wait for you guys to see mine!). Anyway, I have a busy weekend ahead of me and I hope everyone has a great Halloween :)

Are you trickin' or treatin'?

HALLOWEEN WEEKEND RECAP 2014!

So Halloween weekend was soooo much fun! I got the chance to hang out with my girlfriends on Friday and celebrate another friend's birthday by the end of the weekend. I went to The Park on 14th for their annual Halloween party and I must say that some people got really creative with their costumes. This year I opted for a sexy baseball player because I wanted to be comfortable (Thank you God for my Isabel Marant sneakers). Check out a few pictures from my Halloween Night Out :)

Bondage Britt, Sexy Baseball Player (Me) & Nurse Erinn @ The Park on 14th

Spotted in VIP!
How sexy are my girls? I've been rocking with them since Princess Reeboks back in Elementary school...always so much to hang out with them.

Football Player Derrick

I loved my bestfriend's costume, he used to be a football player back in high school!

Dr. G was in the building :)
And Giorgio was the best plastic surgeon ever! He had me chuckling all night.

Had the club going up with my favs: Left to Right- Me, Sky, Derrick, Pam & Portia

By Sunday it was party time for my girl Zahra's birthday (not pictured). I'm super obsessed with this new bar/restraurant called The Gryphon, the brussell sprouts are out of this world and the turn up on a Sunday is so insane. Every now and then you need to turn up (covers eyes) with your friends to remain sane!

I keep getting questions about my hair, yes it's all mine and yes I'm taking an INDEFINITE hiatus from extensions. I'm working on this whole "embrace my own hair" thing and I've been learning how to do my hair myself and voila it's been working out. I'm saving a few coins at the hair salon by getting it done once a month versus 2-3 times. I went a little darker a few weeks ago and I plan to keep my hair that way until it's strong enough to take color again. Anyway, I had an amazing weekend and I'm totally ready for November! Happy Tuesday (make sure you go vote, #ivoted)!

WHAT I WORE: Drake Concert + Halloween Costume Party!

Thursday was such a SPIRAL, I had to literally find something to wear the day of for the concert so I was a bit flustered but it all came together (Thank You Baby Jesus). I'm a huge fan of Drake, Miguel & Future so I was very excited that my friend was able to get us tickets to the concert, it was an incredible concert. I loveeee Drake's energy and he even bought out DC's own Backyard Band to perform their infamous song "Pretty Girl" as well bring out Songstress Jhene Aiko for a few songs as well. Great way to start my Halloween night, especially since I was eager to put on my costume. Check out the deets of my Halloween Night Out and What I Wore below:

WHAT I WORE: White crop top by TopShop/Crossover "Relax Skirt" from Sorella Boutique/ Fuschia "Kario" Mesh booties by Jimmy Choo/ Hoop earrings (old) by BEBE

Hi Drake! The concert ended around 11:30ish, so me and my girls quickly changed and headed to The Park for his after-party/costume party. Park was a ZOO, but we managed to grab a drink and dance for a few while seeing some creative costumes. You've got to love Halloween!

Playboy Bunny, Spider woman & Miss America

How awesome are my bunny ears? They are lace and super chic, totally obsessed with them! I was lucky enough to find them at BCBG the other day, they are sold out online but you may be able to find them in stores.

A Bunny's Tale is ALWAYS interesting!! Hope everyone had a great Halloween, I sure did. Enjoy your weekend everyone...don't forget to set those alarms back :)

Halloween 2012 Recap!

Hey Guys!

Can you guess what I was for Halloween? Although, I was bummed that I couldn't make it to NYC for Halloween I made the best of my situation (Hurricane Sandy & her shenanigans) and hung out with my BFF's at Josephine's Lounge in the city! I had a great time and got to see so many costumes. People are so creative! Dressing up is so much fun, I already know what I want to be next year. LOL!

(BELOW) Wenny as the "Bad A*s Cheerleader", Yours Truly as "Wonder Woman"
& Terrin is the "HAUTE Firefighter" ...love these girls!
