VINTAGE PHOTO OF THE DAY: Diana Ross Gets Glam, Circa 1970s

via: VBG

How absolutely stunning does Diana Ross look?! She's my absolute favorite and her style embodies everything I love. Check out that plunging neckline and veil, she's so fabulous I can't take it. Since, it's "Throwback Thursday" I decided to pull out a vintage photo I find to be all but of AMAZING. Diana Ross was photographed at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in 1978 attending the Motion Picture Pioneer of the Year Awards dinner honoring Dr. Jules Stein. Damn, I wish I was a 70s baby sometime...so much soul, so much passion, so much flare! Long live the 70s and their fashion sense of course! Happy Friday Eve everyone ....you will survive! *in my best Diana voice*

VINTAGE PHOTO OF THE DAY: The Supremes Arrive In Style

How glamorous is this photo of The Supremes? Talk about fabulous travelling style. I finally got the chance to watch Sparkle over the weekend so I've been completely obsessed over singing groups this week, lol and this photo definitely caught my eye. How amazing is the fur coat Diana is wearing?! I'm completely swooning over the luggage sets and their long stems (legs for days). The trio was spotted arriving in complete airport style at London’s Heathrow Airport in March 1965.

THROWBACK THURSDAY: Diana Ross, Circa 1975

image via: VBG
Diana Ross in "Mahogany" bloom, was spotted filming with Anthony Perkins circa, 1975. Joan Juliet Buck, a former editor of French Vogue, says "Valentino was asked to design the costumes for “Mahogany”, but Diana Ross set off a scandal in Italy when she decided to take charge of her own wardrobe. She ripped everything apart and decided to redesign it herself." HA! Love it. How fabulous is Ms. Ross?! This was shot in Italy. #Diva

VINTAGE PHOTOS: Diana Ross in NYC, Cicra 1968

Diana Ross is one of my favorite Style icons and I recently discovered this picture of her taken by photographer Jack Robinson at the world's famous Grand Central Station in New York, during the summer of 1968. This was around the time Ms. Ross was beginning her solo career, how great does she look? Totally loving this picture fore more reasons than one.
