How absolutely stunning does Diana Ross look?! She's my absolute favorite and her style embodies everything I love. Check out that plunging neckline and veil, she's so fabulous I can't take it. Since, it's "Throwback Thursday" I decided to pull out a vintage photo I find to be all but of AMAZING. Diana Ross was photographed at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in 1978 attending the Motion Picture Pioneer of the Year Awards dinner honoring Dr. Jules Stein. Damn, I wish I was a 70s baby sometime...so much soul, so much passion, so much flare! Long live the 70s and their fashion sense of course! Happy Friday Eve everyone ....you will survive! *in my best Diana voice*

VINTAGE PHOTO OF THE DAY: The Supremes Arrive In Style
How glamorous is this photo of The Supremes? Talk about fabulous travelling style. I finally got the chance to watch Sparkle over the weekend so I've been completely obsessed over singing groups this week, lol and this photo definitely caught my eye. How amazing is the fur coat Diana is wearing?! I'm completely swooning over the luggage sets and their long stems (legs for days). The trio was spotted arriving in complete airport style at London’s Heathrow Airport in March 1965.

THROWBACK THURSDAY: Diana Ross, Circa 1975

Diana Ross in "Mahogany" bloom, was spotted filming with Anthony Perkins circa, 1975. Joan Juliet Buck, a former editor of French Vogue, says "Valentino was asked to design the costumes for “Mahogany”, but Diana Ross set off a scandal in Italy when she decided to take charge of her own wardrobe. She ripped everything apart and decided to redesign it herself." HA! Love it. How fabulous is Ms. Ross?! This was shot in Italy. #Diva

FASHION FLASHBACK: Clueless (Circa, 1995)
"Do you prefer 'fashion victim' or 'ensembly challenged'? - Cher
"I mean I get up, I brush my teeth, and I pick out my school clothes." - Cher
"You see how picky I am about my shoes and they only go on my feet." - Cher
" Dionne's my friend because we both know what it's like to have people be jealous of us."- Cher
I want that cell phone holder that Cher has! lol! No seriously....
"I know it sounds mental, but sometimes I have more fun vegging out than when I go partying. Maybe because my party clothes are so binding." - Cher
As women we all know this SCENE happens in our room every blue moon.
"Sporadically. It means once in a while. Try to use it in a sentence." - Cher
Remember wearing a crisp white collared shirt under your sweater?! I loved that trend.

THROWBACK THURSDAY: Chaka Khan, Circa 1970
The DIVA who inspired many.
The Afro-puff wearing Songstress.
The Realest Woman Alive.
The Big Smile wearing....
CHAKA KHAN!
How chic does she look? THIS picture is the epitome of the 1970s. How crazy is it that she is wearing a cropped denim top back then, but still so popular now?! History always has a way of repeating itself and we don't mind at all ; )
Here's one of my favorite quotes from the legendary, Chaka Khan:
"But really, we also need to learn how to love one another as women. How to appreciate and respect each other."

VINTAGE PHOTOS: Diana Ross in NYC, Cicra 1968
Diana Ross is one of my favorite Style icons and I recently discovered this picture of her taken by photographer Jack Robinson at the world's famous Grand Central Station in New York, during the summer of 1968. This was around the time Ms. Ross was beginning her solo career, how great does she look? Totally loving this picture fore more reasons than one.
