TRENDSPOTTING: Happy 40th Anniversary Timberland!

Lately, it seems like everyone is embracing the very comfortable and traditional boot also known as Timberlands. A few weeks ago Timberland celebrated their 40th Anniversary of the infamous boot being spotted on everyone everywhere, do you remember when you got your first pair of Timberlands better known as "Timbs/Buttas"?? I remember getting my first pair in middle school and using an eraser to get rid of the scuff marks (I didn't value shoes back then) before my mom saw the damage I did to my shoes. I loved how durable and comfortable they were, and it seems like Timberland has made a fashionable comeback that I'm willing to incorporate back into my life. Khloe Kardashian Odom rocked hers with shorts and splash of plaid! Trendy yet classic. 

 

Kanye wears his ALL the time...doesn't matter the season!

 

Jay Z has been spotted in many occasions in his timberlands, I really like the camouflage with them.

 

Rihanna is also a lover of comfort, she's been spotted wearing hers all over the world. Don't you love the denim-on-denim trend paired with the boots?! Tom boy chic.

 

Momager Kris Jenner rocked hers with a button collared shirt and distressed denim while walking the streets with her grandkids Mason & Penelope! Mama Jenner is so fly :)

 

Lord Disick kept it very casual in all black! He always gets it right.

 

British Pop Star, Rita Ora paired her boots with a dress which I'm not totally smitten over but definitely inspired.

 

 

I'm getting my pair this week and I can't wait to rock them! Happy 40th Anniversary Timberland!

 

 

WHAT I WORE: Country Lovin With My Girls

 

I had theeee BEST WEEKEND ever and when I say the BEST, I really mean that! With a government shutdown and feeling the quarter-life century crisis I needed a weekend away with my girlfriends. It's always nice to spend quality time with good friends that you respect, admire and trust...there's nothing like talking to a woman *cues Beyonce's "Life Is But A Dream" documentary* especially your bestfriend. So this past weekend, me and the girls took a trip to Luray, Virginia to check out this super cool cave and go to winery and to just getaway from the city...

 

WHAT I WORE: Nike Sports work-out top/White quilted shorts from TopShop/ Neon bag from ZARA/ Sneakers by Reebok

 

I knew we would be doing ALOT of walking through the cave so I opted to dress super comfy while still remaining fashionable of course, lol! If you ever get a chance to take a trip to Luray, Virginia be sure to check out Luray Caverns with your family & friends...it's absolutely breathtaking.  

 

 

After doing a bit of wine tasting at Cave Ridge Vineyard with the girls, I recruited them to take a few shots of me in the vineyard being the flower child that I'am. I love love love nature and was so glad to be surrounded by grapes that make my favorite wines.  

 

Going to the winery for the second time ever in life...was everything I imagined plus more! After leaving the winery, we found this beautiful field on our way to dinner and had to have an impromptu photo-shoot. Gotta love those random photo-shoots :)

Yes, I wore my Christian Louboutins to the country SMH....you can take a girl to the country but you can't take the city out of the girl! After destroying the tap on the concrete at the winery (insert sad face) I took them off and slipped into my favorite sandals.  

 

 

BESTEST weekend ever! Nothing like spending time with your girls especially your bestfriend.

CHIC OF THE WEEK: Ciara, Rita Ora, Miroslava Duma & MORE!

 

 

My Style Icon, Miroslava Duma killed the streets of Paris during Fashion Week. Loveee her!

 

 

Sandra Bullock rocked an all-white look and she looked fabulous to say the least! Love the hair.

 

Ciara was also spotted on the front rows of Paris Fashion Week's hottest shows. I really like who she's becoming, kudos to her stylist.

 

Rita Ora nails it AGAIN! I mean when does she ever get it wrong?

 

Eva Longoria was the epitome of class. How adorable is that fishtail braid?! L-O-V-E

 

 

Miranda Kerr kept it street chic and effortless as usual.

 

 

Kourtney Kardashian was vision in pink, I'll take those Tom Ford heels though...*swoon*

 

Fab-Mommy, Jessica Alba always keeps you guessing. Her style is so effortless, I love it!

 

Olivia Palermo makes it look wayyyy too easy...

After watching Scandal last night, I must say it was one of the BEST season openers I've seen in a very long time. The cast looked great during the Saks Fifth Avenue red carpet premiere...love it!

Fab-Mommy Style: Kim Kardashian Takes Paris + North West's Fashionable Gifts

 

It looks like Fab-Mommy, Kim Kardashian is officially BACK and decided to strut her stuff in Paris during Fashion Week with her beau, Kanye West. The new blonde decided to keep it chic and very fabulous in neutral colors and of course black/white. Of course she attended the Givenchy show wearing designs straight off the the runway and even showed off some cleavage. The fashionable couple left their infant back in the states for some quality time together. Check out some of my favorite looks of Kim Kardashian in Paris, is she back or nah? LOL  

 

 

 

 

Even though baby North was nowhere in sight, the Fab-Mommy picked up some baby gifts to add to her closet. Peep a few of the gifts that top-notch designers gave the new parents below:

 

 

 

 

And YES that's Lanvin, Alexander Wang, Givenchy, Maison Martin  Margiela and Celine that the three-month old, North West will be rocking. And YES, her closet is better than yours...deal with it.

How gorgeous are these ladies?! I love EVERY-SINGLE-THING about this cover, black women are so beautiful. Great to see Hollywood adding some color to the mix, especially these women! Check out the men of "Best Man Holiday" below.

 

 

How could you not like a man in a suit & tie? Obsessed is an understatement. I'm really excited to see this movie, are you?? EBONY Magazine always gets it right, looking froward to grabbing my copy.
