FAB-MOMMY-TO-BE OF THE WEEK: Kelly Rowland!

 

OH BABY, OH BABY, OH BABY!!! I'm super excited to hear that my girl, Kelly Rowland will be a Fab-Mommy! After tying the knot with husband/producer, Time Witherspoon last month the Singer "sorta" announced that she has a little bun in the oven over instagram (see below).

 

  

This will be the first baby for the newlyweds and it looks like the excitement is already underway! So it looks like we have a Maternity Style Watch to stalk in the upcoming months....I'm HERE for it.

Fab-Mommy Style: Kim Kardashian Takes Paris + North West's Fashionable Gifts

 

It looks like Fab-Mommy, Kim Kardashian is officially BACK and decided to strut her stuff in Paris during Fashion Week with her beau, Kanye West. The new blonde decided to keep it chic and very fabulous in neutral colors and of course black/white. Of course she attended the Givenchy show wearing designs straight off the the runway and even showed off some cleavage. The fashionable couple left their infant back in the states for some quality time together. Check out some of my favorite looks of Kim Kardashian in Paris, is she back or nah? LOL  

 

 

 

 

Even though baby North was nowhere in sight, the Fab-Mommy picked up some baby gifts to add to her closet. Peep a few of the gifts that top-notch designers gave the new parents below:

 

 

 

 

And YES that's Lanvin, Alexander Wang, Givenchy, Maison Martin  Margiela and Celine that the three-month old, North West will be rocking. And YES, her closet is better than yours...deal with it.

BUMP OF THE WEEK: Eva Marcille

 

OH BABY, OH BABY! Last week at the BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards Top Model Eva Marcille showed up with her Rapper Beau, Kevin McCall sporting a little baby bump in a floor length black dress with a huge smile to match. Eva is apparently 5 months preggers and dare I say how fabulous she looks?! The Fab-Mommy-To-Be was always a favorite of mine from the CW's Top Model show and it will be super interesting to see her pregnancy style. No worries, we'll be tracking her style eveolution....

FAB-MOMMY: Kim Kardashian's Street Style

 

 

Well hello, Kimberly! The Fab-Mommy to baby North West recently stepped out for a rare appearance while attending a funeral for her Beau, Kanye West's Grandfather. Although the occasion wasn't the most pleasant, Kim managed to look fabulous in all LBD with a fringed sweater and nude Azzedine Alia heels. We hear that Kim and Kanye proudly showed off their 2 month baby girl to West's side of the family...can't wait to see baby North, I'm sure she's a doll. Congrats to the happy couple!     

BUMP OF THE WEEK: Halle Berry in Roberto Cavalli

 

Congrats to Fab-Mommy, Halle Berry as she just announced last week she will be expecting her second child (a baby boy to be exact) with her fiancé, French actor Olivier Martinez, 47. She premiered her super cute and tiny baby bump in Buenos Aires at the on the carpet for her latest movie 'The Call' (which is a great movie). The Fab-Mommy looked beautiful in a one-shoulder chiffon purple gown made by Roberto Cavalli. Congrats again to the couple, this is Halle's second child! Can't wait to see her pregnancy style this go around :)

BUMP OF THE WEEK: The 'She, Me, Her' Tamar Braxton

 

Fab-Mommy-To-Be, Tamar Braxton announced just a few weeks ago that her and hubby Vince were expecting! How awesome is it that the Reality Star/Singer will be debuting her new bundle of joy right after she released her smash hit 'Love & War.' The Fab-Mommy-To-Be looks radiant and seems to very happy all while styling and profiling on red carpets and TV show appearances. Check out her baby-bump appearances below:

Seems like Tamar is sticking to her neutral and embracing the black & white fashion trend. Word on the street is that the 'She, Me, Her' diva is expecting a baby boy. Congrats to the happy couple!!

 

GIRL TALK: Kim Kardashian's Pregnancy Style!

 

In case you've been living under a rock somewhere far far away, let me be the first to break the news to you, Kim & Kanye are expecting a little 'Kimye' this summer. Although the couple has kept the sex of the baby secret, I hear that she's having a little girl (which would be so appropriate for the pair). Ever since Kim has announced her pregnancy it seems like everyone has been talking about her "hip hugging", "oh that skirt is too tight skirt", "she could've done so much better" and "she looks like a whale" criticism about her pregnancy style. The comparisons to her sister Kourtney's pregnancy style have been so harsh that even I feel bad for her! I'm not here to bash Kim, because I absolutely adore her style and love for fashion...although at times it could be a little obsessive, I understand it.

 

 

I'm sure becoming a new mom is not easy and adjusting your wardrobe/style because of a growing belly is a hard pillow to swallow when your job centers around your beauty and style. I say ALL of this to say that maybe we should be a less critical of her "pregnancy style" and be concerned about her health. She seems to be managing just fine and stated on her blog "I saw some comments that the skirt is too tight for the pregnancy and that’s ridiculous! I bought this skirt a few sizes bigger and there is plenty of room. For any concern that my clothes are too tight, I have so many pieces custom fit for my growing body! They make pregnancy Spanx which are tight. So this theory sounds ridiculous! I feel my best when I am in heels and chic clothes! Happy mommy, happy baby! Xo"   

 

Although I'm not a mom, I have alot of fabulous friends who are so it's important that we are less critical of others that are experiencing a high level of emotions during a beautiful yet, life-changing time in their life. I have two sisters that are pregnant right now and I see the emotions at a record high, so I know first hand that it's so very important to support them through their body changes and tell them how beautiful they are. I think pregnancy is a beautiful gift given by God and it doesn't matter what you wear, it's how you wear it. And in my opinion if Kim feels confident wearing lace, leather and super high Louboutin heels...who am I to break her down?

 

Kim's pregnancy style maybe up for debate in your world, but in mine she's doing just fine. It's all about confidence and accentuating your best curves and it seems like she's happy, kudos to her. Check out more pictures of her Fab-Mommy-To-Be style sure to keep the blogs talking:

Alicia Keys stole my heart this morning as I sipped my chai in this sheer number! I'm totally loving the new hair cut, very reminiscent of Halle Berry circa 2009. This Fab-Mommy just released a promo pic for her upcoming album entitled, "Girl On Fire" and needless to say she's smokin' haute.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!! 

How is awesome is it that I get to spend another Mother's Day with my Fab-Mommy, Pamela Reddock! She is my style inspiration, role model, bestfriend and soooo much more. Being one out of six children for my parents, my mother is a true example of LOVE. Today is about her and I will forever cherish each and everyday I get to spend with her! My Fab-Mommy is all that I aspire to be and has defined the meaning of STYLE & GRACE, so we celebrate today and everyday as well as my other sisters who are Fab-Mommies today! I salute you: Simmone, Melissa & Nicole for being amazing Fab-Mommies to look up to! I'm so blessed to see my niece and nephews being raised by these women!
