WHAT I WORE: Dinner Wangin'

Over the weekend I got together with my bestfriend for a cute night out (we needed to have a major catch up session). I've been so obsessed with black lately especially my hair, (there's something about black that is so classic). I promise to give you guys more color soon lol! Anyway, it's a little burr in DC so I decided to finally wear my Scuba sweatshirt from the Alexander Wang x H&M collection and I paired it with my leather sweatpants from Sorrella Boutque. I wanted to be comfortable for dinner and of course I had to jazz it up with my So Kate pumps. I found my scuba top to be very insulated and fit like a corset around the waist (Hello, my waist was on FLEEK lol). I really appreciated the quality of the Alexander Wang x H&M collection, I'll be wearing this again for sure! After a delicious Hibachi dinner we headed to our favorite hookah lounge to keep the night going, needless to say we had a good time. Aren't nights with your Bestfriend the best times?? I hope everyone had a great weekend!

So I finally got the chance to go to H&M and get the Alexander Wang collection. Although the collection debuted Friday eve, the line was down the block with fashion lovers that couldn't wait to get their hands on this exclusive designer collection. I couldn't miss out on this opportunity so I was right in line with them, I mean seriously it's ALEXANDER WANG! *swoon* 

I waited in line wearing a bright pink wristband marked with a specific time slot to shop. After 1.5 hours in line I along with 9 other eager shoppers was escorted upstairs where we then had 20 minutes to shop the collection! I was super excited that I was able to snag two pieces from this collection (fist pump). Since I'm on this shopping budget/planning my holiday party, I decided only to get the items that I absolutely needed. It was a successful shopping experience that I appreciated!

 

I'm super obsessed with the scuba inspired shirt, it's really comfortable and the quality is AMAZING!! Then, I tried on the sports bra which feels so good on, it makes me want to go back and buy a few more! Overall I was satisfied with how H&M handled the crowd, the presentation of the collection and my purchases of course. Kudos!  

Argh retail therapy came right on time, I've been having one of those weeks but this collection turned my frown upside down. Thank you Mr. Wang! I can't wait to wear my stuff. Did you grab anything?!Happy Shopping guys!!! 

FASHION NEWS: Alexander Wang x H&M Collection [11-06-14]

Over the weekend Stylista's got the best news of their life (well at least I did) when H&M announced the next designer collaboration. During the Coachella Music Festival last weekend (I'm so mad that I missed it, next year I'm there!!), famed designer Alexander Wang revealed his collaboration with H&M at an exclusive party. Wang is now the first American designer to partner with H&M and the timing couldn't be even more perfect as the Swedish retailer celebrated their 10th anniversary of designer collaborations. Although deets on the collection have been sealed tight, we hear that there will be some "never have been done before" moments and collection for both men/women released on November 6th, 2014! Azealia Banks Raps For Alexander Wang!

Rapping sensation of the moment, Azealia Banks is featured in the T Fall 2012, Alexander Wang video rapping “Van Vogue” from her recent EP 1991. Azelia and Alexander have collaborated before as they attended the 2012 Met Gala hand in hand, as well as providing the music for his Spring 2012 AW campaign with Liya Kibede. Wang says,“She exudes a certain rawness that makes her a very unique talent and that he loves working with her. Wang also says he thinks the collaboration "captures a collision of energies.” Daniel Jackson directed the video and Alastair McKimm style her. Click here to watch!

Alexander Wang Teams Up With Sally Hansen For Nail Polish Collection!

You've heard it FIRST! The Fashion Designer, Alexander Wang will be teaming up with Sally Hansen for some polish during Wang’s spring 2012 show in September. Hopefully, the shades will be available in stores soon after — and in the Sally Hansen price range, as opposed to the Wang one! LOL.

Colors will range from black, black, and more black? Maybe some gray? A bit of white? Or perhaps some rose gold? We'll just have to wait and see, but we can't help but to wonder what fabulous plans Sally Hansen has up their sleeves! Stay tuned....
