PICASSO BABY: Jay-Z + Barney's NY for Holiday Collection

 

 

Jay-Z also known as Shawn Carter is showing no signs of slowing down as recently partnered with Barney's New York for his own "A New York Holiday". The collection is said to include a range of top fashion designers and "influential indie brands to fashion a collection of limited-edition holiday products", says WWD. Interested in the brands that will be featured in this collection? Well Barney's NY has tapped Lanvin, Balenciaga, Balmain, Proenza Schouler, Rick Owens and Moncler. The New York store will be called BNY SCC Gallery (Barneys New York and Shawn Corey Carter).

Items from the collection will go on sale Nov. 20, 2013- Jan. 3, 2014 at the Barneys flagships in New York, Beverly Hills, San Francisco, Boston and Chicago. If you don't live in those cities, no worries barneys.com has you covered. The best part about this collection is that 25% percent of all sales from the project will go toward the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. Barneys' creative ambassador at-large and author, Simon Doonan, is making a fashionable stop by the W Hotel today for a book party, Gay Men Don't Get Fat. With an RSVP, you can swing by the free event, grab a book and an autograph, and sip fancy cocktails while asking your style questions. BARNEYS NEW YORK PRESENT'S GAGA'S WORKSHOP UNVEILING

Barneys New York underwent a serious transformation, turning into the Gaga's Workshop. Lady Gaga (wearing Chanel) alongside the family, stylist Nicola Formichetti and other close friends, attendees played in the lively space and shopped the wacky toys and gifts. Check out a few pictures below!
