CAMPAIGN SWAG: Lady Gaga for Versace Spring/Summer 2014

If you've been seeing a lot of Versace lately on Lady Gaga, then I think we've solved the mystery. The pop star is the newest face for Versace's Spring/Summer 2014 collection and looking pretty darn good in the campaigns so far. The campaign is said to show how Lady Gaga embodies the "Versace essence: creative, experimental, fearless." I think that this is a perfect fit for Versace and can you believe how amazing Lady Gaga looks?! I'm obsessed with the Dontella Versace inspired blonde ambition hair it's decadence and glam all wrapped up in one. Werk it Lady Gaga!

“I am honored that my friend Lady Gaga is the face of our new Versace campaign. I wanted to capture her true beauty and spirit in images that are elegant and alluring. She is like family to me, the embodiment of the Versace DNA.” -Donatella Versace

Lady Gaga for V Magazine, Fall 2013

Lady Gaga is baccccccck from what seemed like the longest hiatus ever and dare I say she's back and looking great! The superstar covers the Fall 2013 #85 issue of V Magazine in custom Saint Laurent Paris jacket and tailored made denim. I just adore the jacket/blazer with no shirt look, it's not too much but then again it's not boring and practical...leave it to Gaga to bring sexy back! Her new album Artpop will be in stores November 11th, I know it will be dope. Welcome back Gaga!

SNEAK-PEEK: Lady Gaga 'FAME' Perfume

Lady Gaga caused quite the ruckus last week when she tweeted "Looks like photos of my perfume are being leaked. Oh you fashion editors I could just crinkle my hands at you!" Gaga tweeted on Wednesday, before she posted the photo of her new perfume bottle. Apparently, the perfume bottle is a clear bottle filled with black fluid with a dramatic flare like the famed singer.

Want to know what the perfume will actually smell like? Well Gaga says, "Actually the perfume smells like an expensive hooker. Be sure to check the back of the packaging so you too can smell FAME for yourself! I'm really intrigued by Lady Gaga's persona, ever since her sit down with Oprah. No details on when her 'FAME' perfume will debut...I'll keep you in the loop once I get word!

Fashion News: Lady Gaga Will Intern For Phillip Treacy

via: MO

Phillip Treacy is known for his wild and "one-of-a kind" hats. With clients including Isabella Blow, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Karl Lagerfeld, Ralph Lauren, and Princess Beatrice, who recently wore one of his designs at Kate Middleton’s and Prince William’s nuptials earlier this year. He's MAJOR, to say the least! Treacy did an interview with The Observer, in which he commented on lingering rumors that Lady Gaga would be interning for his fashion house.

He stated: "She plans to. She’s already visited me. This is what happened: one Monday morning, four burly bodyguards arrived – Lady Gaga’s security team – to check out the security of the building. I looked at them as if to say: What?! Who is going to take a pot shot at Lady Gaga? Anyway, she is young, talented and peculiar – which I like."

Treacy’s eccentric designs and Lady Gaga's futuristic style is sure to be a twosome to be reckoning with! I'm super excited to see what's next, are you???

Lady Gaga for Vogue Magazine, March 2011

Lady Gaga is on a mission to be the most unforgettable icon and I must say that I'm a fan! She's not a LADY that can ever be defined, she breaks the rules, capitalizes each fashionable moment in her life and gives a flying shit about what people think about her.
She is beyond AMAZE...she's the one and only Lady Gaga.

Read a few excerpts from her interview with VOGUE:

"How appropriate—how accurate!—her name is. It is more of a title, really, one she bestowed upon herself mere moments before she became so insanely famous. The Gaga half makes immediate, intuitive sense, an utterance that sounds like an infant’s first word but is, in fact, French and means, essentially, to be utterly enthralled by something—excited to the point of being touched by madness. (That it describes both the pop star and her uniquely obsessed fans makes it even more perfect.) But it is the Lady part of her name that has gone under explored."

"If you have not seen Lady Gaga live, you do not know from Lady Gaga. In an arena, her music, which has often been dismissed as run-of-the-mill Euro-pop—somehow not edgy or deep enough—takes flight. It is as if each song were written for the express purpose of being belted—roared—in front of 20,000 people on an extravagant stage set with ten dancers taking up the rear. She manages to go from insane, over-the-top rock opera to syncopated dance routine to intimate, boozy piano ballad and then back again, through thirteen costume changes, without ever losing her total command of the stage. The fact that she has a huge voice, plays the piano and the stand-up bass, and wrote every lyric and melody herself adds to the sense that you are in the presence of a true artist who has only just begun to show what she’s made of."

"For Gaga, the stakes are high. “Because as an artist and as a performer, the person that they look up to to create this space of freedom and escapism, I want to give my fans nothing less than the greatest album of the decade. I don’t want to give them something trendy. I want to give them the future."

My favorite quote from her VOGUE interview:

"What I do for a living is not a cheese sandwich. It’s not like, either good or bad. It’s much more complicated than that." ~ Lady Gaga
