I'm super excited for another Summer weekend in the city (I have a few social events to attend and birthday celebrations happening..it's cancer season lol). But I'm even more excited for the #OnTheRun Tour after seeing the videos/pictures from Jay and Beyoncé's first performance, anyone going July 7th? I'm STILL freakin' out about what I'm going to wear! I have some time to decide but you know...lol. Anyway, I'm wishing everyone a great weekend :)

This post is LONG overdue, please forgive me for not sharing this last month but as you already know my life was a bit busy. But, we are almost a month away from the concert so I'm getting super excited for the #OnTheRun concert. For the past week I've been brainstorming outfits for the big event and of course I needed some inspiration so I've replaying this video over and over lol. HA! During the Grammy's people started up this meme (on Instagram) and it referred to ideal situations or some not so ideal situations as "This Could Be Us, But You Playing" and it was extremely funny to me. But NO seriously....We Could Be "The Carters" But You Playing ; )

Jay-Z also known as Shawn Carter is showing no signs of slowing down as recently partnered with Barney's New York for his own "A New York Holiday". The collection is said to include a range of top fashion designers and "influential indie brands to fashion a collection of limited-edition holiday products", says WWD. Interested in the brands that will be featured in this collection? Well Barney's NY has tapped Lanvin, Balenciaga, Balmain, Proenza Schouler, Rick Owens and Moncler. The New York store will be called BNY SCC Gallery (Barneys New York and Shawn Corey Carter).

Items from the collection will go on sale Nov. 20, 2013- Jan. 3, 2014 at the Barneys flagships in New York, Beverly Hills, San Francisco, Boston and Chicago. If you don't live in those cities, no worries barneys.com has you covered. The best part about this collection is that 25% percent of all sales from the project will go toward the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. I'm super excited to share with you my Beyonce experience from her Mrs. Carter World Tour! My bestie and I waited all Summer for Beyonce and I must say it was far the best show I've been to all year besides Rihanna. After drinks at our hotel we hopped in the car headed to the Barclay's Center (which is pretty kick a*s) to join the Beyhive! It was her last show and she really went all out especially when her Hubby, Jay Z joined her on stage to perform Bow Down/Tom Ford (I screamed the entire time! LOL) which made my trip to BK all but of worth it. We danced the night away and I got to do it with my bestie, how awesome is that? Before the concert I was able to see some of my friends in Long Island and Manhattan...Ahhh I missed New York something serious, can't wait to go back next month. Check out the video I took right when Jay Z appeared on stage...as you can see the crowd went crazy when he came out! What a night it was, you just had to be there! STYLE RECAP: Jay Z Celebrates 40/40 10th Anniversary

 

It was like a "night of champagne" for Rapper & Owner, Jay Z celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the 40/40 NYC club with his beautiful wife by his side and a host of A-list friends! Time surely flies by, I can't believe it's been 10 years. Congrats to the Mogul, he's definitely taking over these days. Check out my favorite looks of the night below:

STYLISH COUPLES: The Carter's Kick It Courtside!

 

 

It's always exciting to see the Carter's out and about, even though Hurricane Sandy forced them to leave their Tribecca pad they decided to go to head to BK for a cute date night. The Stylish couple kicked it courtside in the most fabulous way. Our girl, Beyonce wore a Tibi Alton 3/4 Sleeve Top , Alton Pants and Giuseppe Zanotti Sharon Peep Toe Colorblock Sandals paired with handmade Obama earrings by Puerto Rican jewelry designer Erika Peña. Her hubby wore a black tee, black hoodie (with the fur) and his favorite camo pants paired with his retro Nike's. 

I'm digging Beyonce's bangs and of course her earrings :)

Awww Moment of the Day: Blue Ivy Carter's Ruthie Davis Sneakers

 

How uber cute is Blue Ivy?! She's the luckiest girl in the world....and guess what? She doesn't even know it yet. The stylish tot has her parents Jay Z and Beyonce to thank for her super stardom and of course her sense of style. Earlier this we spied shoe designer Ruthie Davis posted a photo of these custom made sneakers on facebook. of a tiny pair of pink suede sneakers embellished with pastel rhinestones. How cute are they? She then commented:

LOVE X FASHION X BASKETBALL: Beyonce and Jay-Z At Knicks Game (Plus Video)

New parents Beyoncé and Jay-Z are still making time for just the two of them. The couple sat courtside at Madison Square Garden for the Nets vs. Knicks game, where Beyoncé showed off her post-baby bod wearing $495 Rag & Bone Silver Tuxedo blazer in lemon yellow, white t-shirt, black jeans, pair of $1,095 Christian Louboutin Daffodile pumps with simple but bold accessories like her gold hoops and a $250 nOir Jewelry Brooklyn Bridge double finger ring (don't forget her very BLUE nails). Lovin it?

 Our Fab-Mommy graciously signed autographs for young fans and danced along to the music (see video below).

Fab-Mommy Beyonce's Very 'Blue' Pregnancy!

Congrats to Jay Z and Beyonce as they welcomed a healthy baby girl by the name of Blue Ivy Carter into the world on Saturday, January 8, 2012! I can't believe I missed the obvious (see above) very 'blue pregnancy' Beyonce had, were we really that blind?! Anyway, we heard that the Hip-Hop Power couple were so excited for the baby's birth, they even sent their friends Blue Christmas gifts, how cute is that?! Beyoncé's birthday is Sept. 4, while Jay-Z's is Dec. 4; they wed on April 4 in 2008; have matching "IV" tattoos on their wedding fingers; and Beyoncé named her latest album 4. Therefore, they chose the name "Ivy" because of the number 4 or Roman numeral IV, which is significant in Beyoncé and Jay-Z's relationship. Want to know where Blue came from? Well Father Jay-Z has three albums with the word "blueprint" in their titles: The Blueprint was released in 2001; The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse, in 2002; and The Blueprint 3, in 2009. In lyrics, Jay-Z states that "I'm the Blueprint, I'm like the map for 'em," he said in "A Star Is Born," from The Blueprint 3 so it's only right that his 1st born would be named Blue! I doubt if we see pictures of the actual baby anytime soon, but it seems the BIGGA camp is happy about Princess Carter! We wish them well :)

Fashionably Business: Jay Z teams up with The New York Yankees

The New York Yankees announced that limited-edition co-branded Yankees/Jay-Z merchandise will be sold exclusively at Yankee Stadium. The items went on sale August 30th and will be sold until September 14th. The merchandise will be available at Yankee Stadium through the Jay-Z / Eminem concerts taking place in the venue on Sept. 13 and Sept. 14.

All items will feature Yankees and Jay-Z logos, and all items have been seen and approved by Jay-Z. Merchandise will include men's and women's T-shirts and hoodies all by Majestic Athletics, along with New Era 59/50 fitted Yankees caps with the album logo from Jay-Z's 'The Blueprint 3'.
