How fashionable is this picture (above)?! I'm squealing over the uber cuteness of 4 year-old, Emme Maribel Muniz. What a doll...she get it from her mama'! Jennifer Lopez and her Beau, Casper Smart had the best seats during Paris Fashion Week at CHANEL's show.

 

 

Jennifer looked radiant in a CHANEL dress & clutch paired with her black ankle-strap patent Tom Ford pumps with a gold lock. Glam slam if you ask me :)

Rapper sensation and my music obsession, 2 Chainz snagged the cover of THE FADER Magazine for their June/July 2012 issue. He goes shirt-less but opted for an army green hat and a vintage gold CHANEL chain paired with a gold watch and shades. Life seems to be good for the rapper as he appears to be smiling ear to ear (I ain't mad at ya)! In my best voice *2 Chainzzzzzz*

CHANEL Paris-Bombay Collection

In 1997, CHANEL bought seven workshops (Desrues, Lemarié, Lesage, Massaro, Michel, Goossens and Guillet) who are responsible for the beautiful designs behind the luxurious label. The annual show is of course noone other than Karl Lagerfeld, as a tribute to those "gifted craftspeople that make CHANEL happen." With inspiration from the "Paris-Bombay," Karl was able to do what he could by taking us on a magic carpet ride to the Rajasthan, while keeping that chic CHANEL signature. Umm hello, we love that! I'm going into Nail Polish overload today....just because! Another Chanel exclusive is underway by the Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup, Peter Philips. The new nail polish collection will launch on September 8th at Fashion’s Night Out events across the country and on chanel.com. The nail collection will ONLY be available from September 8 until the end of the month!

Want to know more about the color choices? Well the trio of of blue lacquers were inspired by quintessence of casual chic: denim. That's right, denim and oh how we love our denim jeans, jackets, etc. From the denim inspiration evolved three shades, that range from a very pale blue, LOVE.

The names were recently revealed and are true to Chanel's inspiration: Blue Rebel, Blue Boy and Coco Blue. Do you LOVE? Hurry and get them before September is over!

Make-Up Monday: Chanel Les Aquarelles de Chanel Collection

In the 1920s, Marie Laurencin painted a watercolor portrait of Gabrielle Chanel. Today, Karl Lagerfeld employs that image as a point of departure for the 2011 Spring-Summer Haute Couture Collection, suffused with light and restraint. The atmosphere is pastel-toned, with clean silhouettes of catwalk models styled as ballerinas, evanescent and nonchalant. Soft pinks merge into tones of ivory and dove grey. Every aspect of the cherished rue Cambon style is washed over with the candor of youth. The enigmatic grace of a black satin ribbon tied high around the neck accentuates the mysterious spirit hidden behind the models’angelic faces.

Innocence always conceals its more daring side. Peter Philips, Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup, sees the spirit of rebellion behind delicate poses. His pastels are infused with character, coloring candidly pure faces with a flourishing form of urban poetry.

Created in the image of the 2011 Spring-Summer Haute Couture Collection, the shade range focuses on a palette of pinks and delicate grey on the eyes, framed by black and bathed in light. An exclusive creation, OMBRES TISSÉES Beiges takes on a fine-knit texture of silvery, golden and pinkish tones of beige. Arranged in three bands within their square case, these satiny eyeshadows smooth transparently over eyelids, while illuminating facial contours with touches of light. A little cloud of OMBRE ESSENTIELLE in Gris Exquis is shaded just beneath the brow line. A bold, geometric line of STYLO YEUX WATERPROOF 10 Ébène is drawn the precise width of the eyelid, stopping abruptly at its border for a more muted revisiting of the doe eye, modernising the youthful inspiration behind the look.

Blush extends from cheekbones to just below the eye. JOUES CONTRASTE 99 Rose Pétale adorns an opalescent complexion with soft light, lifted by the fresh hue of 66 Pink Cloud. Lips and nails are dressed in a hint of transparent pink, conveying an impression of romance par excellence. The fashion maven Blake Lively, who already has a Christian Louboutin shoe named after her, has been tapped to front Chanel’s new Mademoiselle handbag line, reports WWD. “She’s a kind of American dream girl” says designer Karl Lagerfeld of the French design house’s newest face. The blonde beauty, who spent much of her time in Paris last July mingling with fashion royalty during the couture shows, was photographed by the designer himself at Chanel’s Rue Cambon headquarters for the new campaign. For the actress, being photographed in the historic apartment where Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel once showed her collections was humbling. “A dream come true is an understatement. I can say that I feel like the happiest, luckiest girl around.” Lively, whose ads are slated to run in April magazines, joins an elite club of stars who have posed for the house of Chanel, including Diane Kruger, Lily Allen and Vanessa Paradis.

“Though I am the face of [the handbag], I will carry it like every girl,” Lively said. “I will always feel it’s more than just a purse. It’s a quilted case full of lipstick, love letters and the dreams and possibilities that I have always felt every time I see that beautiful ‘CC.’”
