Hello young world & Happy September! I'm back to blogging (now that summer is officially over) so I'll be sure to bring you guys up to speed on my life sooner than later. But for the meantime between time I thought I would make my first "back to blogging" post about my favorite, Beyoncé. The Fab-Mommy of Princess Blue Ivy Carter and entertainer of the year has landed herself on the front cover of CR Fashion Book Issue #5 and she's looking damn good if I do say so myself. I'm super excited for another Summer weekend in the city (I have a few social events to attend and birthday celebrations happening..it's cancer season lol). But I'm even more excited for the #OnTheRun Tour after seeing the videos/pictures from Jay and Beyoncé's first performance, anyone going July 7th? I'm STILL freakin' out about what I'm going to wear! I have some time to decide but you know...lol. Anyway, I'm wishing everyone a great weekend :)

But, we are almost a month away from the concert so I'm getting super excited for the #OnTheRun concert. HAUTE FRIDAY THE 13TH: Beyonce Drops Visual Album!

 

Last night well actually SUPER early this morning, Beyoncé gave her fans the biggest surprise of our lives! To think "Scandal" had me all gittery, Beyoncé most certainly through me for a loop. YES, I stan...please deal with it and bow down. She released a visual album complete with 14 new songs, and 17 videos without a promotional stint in place. Hello, who is the BAWSE now? Seriously, I downloaded the album right away and was not disappointed...the music is fresh and the videos are captivating. My favorite songs/videos are "Mine", "Partition", "Yonce", "XO", "Blue", "Drunk in Love" along with the whole DAMN album. Forget the old rules, Beyoncé has new rules for her competition and I'm not mad. Be sure to download her latest album on iTunes ASAP. Beyonce is fresh off an amazing birthday trip with her family (Blue & Jay) and close friends aboard a luxury yacht from Spain to Italy. After swooning over pictures for days post her Made In America performance..it's official, I want a 15-liter bottle of Armand de Brignac Brut Gold champagne to chug down on my birthday. Any takers? I promise to share :)

WOMAN CRUSH WEDNESDAY: Beyonce's New Bob + Interview with Kid President

 

 

Beyonce said good-bye to the pixie cut and hello to a fierce and fabulous bob this week! I must say that I love this hair cut WAY more, it's sassy and edgy...just the spice I needed from the Fab- Mommy. She premiered the hair cut in Miami over the weekend and then during her performance at V Festival in Europe. She pictured in a Top Shop printed set (above) and a Roberto Cavalli dress below.

HAIR FILES: Beyonce's Hairstylist, Rita Hazan Speaks on New Pixie Cut

 

The Beyhive went into a full frenzy last week when Beyonce did the unthinkable by cutting her signature blonde locks and rocking a new pixie hair cut. I was shell shocked and couldn't believe my eyes but either way I adore the QUEEN (you hear me?). Beyonce is as beautiful as they come and with this short hair it truly brings out her features. Fashionista.com sat down with Beyonce's colorist, Rita Hazan to get the scoop on her hair, see a few highlights from the interview below:

 

Fashionista: What was the process like of creating the color? What did Beyonce request?

Rita Hazan: When I saw her cut, I knew the color had to be soft but powerful. She wanted to keep her natural color as a grown out look with roots to give it an edge. But, she allowed me creative freedom, which is amazing for a colorist to be able to do especially on a superstar like Beyonce. And she lets me get to the end result in my own way, which here was a beautiful champagne blonde.

 

Fashionista: How is Beyonce to work with? Was she nervous about the change?

Rita Hazan: I think she was ready for a big change. She has conquered the world at 31 with a new baby and a sold-out concert tour. She was relaxed and excited.

 

Fashionista: What was her reaction like?

Rita Hazan: She loved it and I think she felt really beautiful (’cause she is really beautiful!).

I'm super excited to share with you my Beyonce experience from her Mrs. Carter World Tour! My bestie and I waited all Summer for Beyonce and I must say it was far the best show I've been to all year besides Rihanna. After drinks at our hotel we hopped in the car headed to the Barclay's Center (which is pretty kick a*s) to join the Beyhive! It was her last show and she really went all out especially when her Hubby, Jay Z joined her on stage to perform Bow Down/Tom Ford (I screamed the entire time! LOL) which made my trip to BK all but of worth it. We danced the night away and I got to do it with my bestie, how awesome is that? Before the concert I was able to see some of my friends in Long Island and Manhattan...Ahhh I missed New York something serious, can't wait to go back next month. Check out the video I took right when Jay Z appeared on stage...as you can see the crowd went crazy when he came out! What a night it was, you just had to be there! FASHION NEWS: Rent The Runway Presents the 'Beyonce Boutique'

 

Who runs the world? MRS. BEYONCE KNOWLES-CARTER if you ask me! The Fab-Mommy, Singer, Fashion Designer and 'Grown Woman' has joined forces with Rent the Runway to pick her favorite dresses in her very own Boutique. The boutique is reasonable and affordable for all those girls that need a dress for one-night only. Although I've never personally rented a dress from Rent the Runway, I've only heard great reviews. It's was just a few weeks ago when "Grown Woman" Mrs.Carter debuted her new song to a crowd in Bercy, Paris. Dare I say I love it!!!! This commercial is definitely giving me the 'Baby Boy' video she did with Sean Paul a few years ago. I'm loving the Island glow on Mrs. Carter as well! Grown Woman :)

BABY, I'M GONNA BE YOUR MOTIVATION: Beyonce Full H&M Campaign + Snapshots from Mrs. Carter Tour

 

Beyonce looks smokin' haute for her latest H&M campaign. Now we have all if not most of the pictures from her beautiful photo-shoot she did a few months ago. The Fab-Mommy showed off her post-baby body in some very flattering bikini's with sultry lips and a flower to embrace the Caribbean roots where she shot the campaign. We hear that Beyonce had a hand in the designing aspect of the bikinis as well, although we don't have the prices for the bikini's I'm sure they will be affordable.  

 

Werk it B! The Fab-Mommy has also kicked off her World Tour in Serbia yesterday. Check out some of the flicks from her Mrs. Carter tour below (I can't wait to see her this summer).

COVER FAB: Beyonce's Electrifying Cover for Vogue UK, May 2013 + Official Pepsi Commercial

 

Beyonce also known as 'Mrs. Carter' graced her very first cover of Vogue UK May 2013 issue. The Fab-Mommy/Singer was photographed by Arthur Elgort wearing a striped crop top and an 'electrifying' Dolce & Gabbana blue crepe sequin skirt. I'm loving the natural look on Beyonce! Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in H&M + New Song 'Bow Down'

Congrats to Beyoncé also known as Mrs. Carter for her new partnership with Swedish retailer, H&M. The Brand Representative says, Mrs. Carter also put her "personal input on the pieces seen in the campaign." Kudos to the Singer/Fab-Mommy on her latest venture, she looks absolutely stunning in this beach chair. We hear the campaign was shot in Bahamas while she was celebrating Blue Ivy's birthday. Mrs. Carter further says, "I've always liked H&M's focus on fun affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements -fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial." What can you expect this summer?  The campaign will feature swimwear and beachwear pieces that will raise money for WaterAid. In other Mrs. Carter news, it seems like Beyoncé is ready for us to hear what she's been working on! Last week she released her her track "Bow Down" and a picture of a younger @BaddieBey wearing a crown, sash, and gown while being surrounded by trophy's of course (see below).

 

The song caused a bit of controversy but what else is new? Seems like Mrs. Carter is repping that H-town again and I'm not mad at all! I'm totally stoked to hear more off this album and of course to see her in concert this summer! Take a listen below (I hear a remix is in the works too! Get it Bey!):
