STYLED BY SCHUNTEL ALEXIS: Urban Sweetheart Spring/Summer 2015 Collection

On set for the Urban Sweetheart photo-shoot with Owner & Model, Sirdonea Davis. Photographed by Laura Metzler

Happy Friday beautiful people! Last week I told you about all the amazing opportunities that have been coming my way so I wanted to share the final images from the Urban Sweetheart photo-shoot that I styled almost 2 weeks ago. The photo-shoot was a creative collaboration of Sirdonea and I, we decided that Georgetown would be the perfect place to capture all of the outfits we put together. Check out a few images from the photo-shoot below:

SHOP THIS LOOK: Lillie Dress/ Jessica Purse (sold out) but find similar here/ Courtney Hat (Mocha)
Absolutely love this dress! It worked perfectly with the scenery...couldn't have asked for a better day!

SHOP THIS LOOK: In Bloom Top/ In Bloom Skirt/ Brooke Hat/ Autumn Heel/

How great is this two-piece outfit? The material is light and it definitely moves well in front of the camera. The hat was the perfect touch to this look!

SHOP THIS LOOK: Pink Fingernails Crop/ Paris Clear Clutch/ Nude heels brought by model/
If you know me, then you know how much I loveeeee crop tops! How fun is this look? You can pair this outfit with high-heel sandals or a fashionable flat sandal (first picture).

SHOP THIS LOOK: Candy Stripe Dress/ Brooke Hat/ Spring tote bag by US (not yet available)/

I really adored this shift dress, it's fun and flirty as well as super comfortable.

SHOP THIS LOOK: Ella Jacket/ Ella Shorts/

Absolutely love this jogger set, the zipper detail leaves room for this to be worn together or separately. Definitely a great addition to your closet if you need a short set :)

SHOP THIS LOOK: Brooke Hat/ Billie Jean Top/ Paradise Skirt/ Sadie Shades/ Converse sneakers/

This last look was the perfect way to end the shoot, it was Summer cool and a great look for a day out in the city. Overall, it was a great shoot and I'm glad that our vision came to light, team work is EVERYTHING! I've added these pictures to my portfolio HERE! Stay tuned as I'll be dropping a very special announcement! In the mean time between time stay cool (it's a heat wave) and most importantly fabulous! Cheers to the weekend!

RECAP: Urban Sweetheart Product Photo-Shoot

So much is happening (all good things) lately, I needed to take some time last weekend to myself to process it all. I'm so happy to announce that I styled my first product shoot for Urban Sweetheart two weeks ago and it was a major success. My high school friend is amazingly talented and with our creative energy we styled an amazing shoot together. Her boutique features women's sunglasses, purses, shoes, bags, accessories and clothing. The photo-shoot took place in Georgetown at this amazing studio (which I love), so without further delay check out the product shoot I styled for Urban Sweetheart below:

Happy Spring from Ms. Style and Grace!

Happy Spring!

I'm definitely in the Springy Mood and I will make no apologies for my overly happy and bubbly hora. I had a fabulous weekend and I'm glad I got the chance to spend time with the one's I truly love and adore. The most exciting part of my weekend was my photo-shoot with the Urban Sweetheart herself, Sirdonea Davis! We had a blast on set and I've taken the liberty of sharing a sneak peek of our photo-shoot with famed photographer Torrance Patrick. We are super excited about the future of Ms. Style and Grace and grateful to have everyone apart of our journey!

P.S.-With school about to wrap up next month and the 1 year Anniversary Party for Ms. Style and Grace underway (Have you RSVP'd yet?) it's safe to say that I'm super busy these days so please forgive me in advance for the delays! Thank you for the continuous support!

Stylin On You: Sirdonea "The Urban Sweetheart"

Hey Good People! Its been awhile since I've featured someone, so without further delay let me introduce you to Sirdonea "The Urban Sweetheart" from Brandywine, Maryland. At 24 years old this Jewelry designer and blogger knows how to look effortless yet fabulous in every way!

Sirdonea (better known as Sodie) described her individual style as "A variety…whatever I’m feeling. I like to play around with a lot of different looks. One minute ill be classy with a blazer, silk shirt and French roll pin-up, the next mini dress, crop top and high heels. I HEART accessories… Gold, Pearls and Big Bold Statement pieces (similar to the items in my collection) I can’t leave the house without a bracelet, a layered necklace and a pair of earrings!!"

Anyone loving that jean top as much as I'am?! Totally digging the way she pairs of something casual with a dramatic piece of jewelry or color.

Everyone has Style Influences these days, so when I asked Sodie about who she idolized and drew inspiration from. The Urban Sweetheart said, "Magazines are my Fashion Bibles!!! My favorite is Bazaar. It’s where I draw most of my inspiration from for personal style and designing. Glamour, Elle and Nylon are next in line. My style icons are Kelis, The Olsen twins and Olivia Palermo."

Sodie's iSTYLE iLIVE iDIE for quote:

Love hard, laugh till you cry, dance until you get weak in the knee and look stunning while doing it!!

Since MsStyleandGrace.com is near and dear to my fashionable heart, I asked the beautiful Sodie what Style & Grace meant to her and she said this:
"Style and Grace to me is the essence of a woman. It’s what defines her, inside and out. Her beauty, her walk, her talk, her fashion… it’s what makes her her. I believe every woman has their own unique Style and Grace that she evolves into once she defines her inner being. Style and Grace is something that will never die, only evolve as she grows older, wiser and stronger."

...I couldn't have said it better! If your a jewelry junky and need some a statement piece to add to your Fall wardrobe be sure to support Sodie "Urban Sweetheart collection" by visiting http://www.urbansweetheart.com Also, follow the Stylin On You Star on twitter @Urbansweethrt

Pleased to Meet You...

Hello all! My name is Sirdonea "Sodie" Davis and I am one of the new contributors for Ms. Style and Grace!! Before I begin this awesome journey I would like to take the time to briefly introduce myself.... I am an individual who captivates my individuality through doing the things I love... fashion/arts, writing, music, running, dancing (not professionally... just in the mirror :) and designing. I'm a laid back kind-of-girl who enjoys being with my loved ones and having fun! My life motto is to love hard, laugh till you cry and dance until you get weak in the knees. Although I love anything and everything fashion related, my passion is designing, which is the reason I recently just started my own jewelry collection, Urban Sweetheart. I'm motivated, inspired and captivated by positive people who do positive things and aren't afraid to go against the norm and embrace their individuality. To Ms. Style and Grace I will be contributing just that... Informing you the readers about individuals that go against the norm and embrace their beauty & talents through their fashion and also encourage you to do the same. I'm so excited about being apart of this FABULOUS blog and cannot wait to share my thoughts and world with you!! Follow me @urbansweethrt

Muah!
