PARIS FASHION WEEK: Kim, Kanye & Baby North Take Their Front Row Seat!

 

The West family has made a fashionable entrance to Paris for fashion week (I'm having serious FOMO!) with their adorable daughter little North West. The family's first show was at Balenciaga where North West sat front row at her very first fashion show, what a lucky little tot she is! The West family wore all black and NW wore her daddy's "Yeezus" shirt over a leather skirt and leggings and black timberland boots...how rocker chic is she? Can we pause and be jealous of this 14 month year old? Lol! She is living the fashion dream I want right now! #FixItYeezus

How cute is this family? I'm obsessed with Kim's makeup she's been looking every bit of flawless and polished lately. Her fashion choices have been spot on as well, and I'll take NW's Yeezus shirt as well. With 93 shows in 9 days we need to get use to seeing the Wests around town...and I'm here for every part of it! I'm even kind of feeling Kanye's new haircut, a very different look from him that I appreciate.

WEDDING BLISS: Kim & Kanye!

If you haven't heard by now, let me be the first or the last to tell you that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are officially married!! Kim is now officially "Kim Kardashian West" according to her Instagram account and of course the wedding was every bit of romantic. The bride and groom both wore Givenchy Couture and we hear Baby Nori West was also in Givenchy herself. Although only a few photos have been released I'm sure we will get the full picture in the coming weeks as the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' return for another season.

Happy Wednesday guys! It's finally starting to feel like Spring/Summer in the DMV and that makes me happy. Love is truly in the air, as I just got my official wedding invitation to my girlfriend's wedding (hence my post) so I'm the "lovey dovey" mood you can say lol. That makes three weddings for me this year, good to see people I love find the love they deserve. Have a great day people!

The moment we've all been waiting for, well definitely Kim & Kanye have been waiting for has finally arrived. The "World's Most Talked About Couple" covers the fashion bible, VOGUE April 2014 issue and dare I say I FREAKIN LOVE IT. After almost shattering the internet last Friday with the release of the cover they also released Behind-The-Scene footage of the happy couple and super cute Nori on set. With just less than 2 months away from their wedding in Paris the couple looks to be living the dream right now! Check out a few pictures from their photo-shoot & BTS below:

My favorite song off the Yeezus album "Bound 2" finally has a video that I actually really love. It's artistic, futuristic and Kanye fashion....it's gotten mixed reviews, but I love it for the most part. With the Yeezus tour in full swing, the man who refers to himself as a "God" got down on his knee to propose to his "Baby Momma" (his words, not mine..lol) and girlfriend of 2 years Kim Kardashian on her 33rd birthday. According to E! Kanye rented out the San Francisco's AT&T Park for a special proposal to his girlfriend complete with "fireworks and roman candles" accompanied with a 50-piece orchestra playing Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful" & Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and Kanye's "Knock You Down." 

 

 

Meanwhile on the jumbo screen the rapper said...."PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!"

 

 

Deets on the ring?? Wait for it.....A super beautiful 15-carat diamond ring by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz also friends of the Kardashians. Congrats to the happy couple!!!  

 

 

Haute Friday: KimYe' Dinner Date in Rome, Italy

I have no idea why I'm full of so much energy this Friday, but I'am! Super grateful for another productive week in the books and feeling like this weekend is going to be relaxing. After seeing Elle Varner perform last night (she's amazin!) live at a beauty concert series, put me in a great mood. Anyway, with Kim's birthday coming up it looks like the cutesy couple took their love affair to none other than Rome, Italy! Kimye' has stolen my heart and I'm not ashamed to say it, lol. Kim looks chic and effortless while her Beau, Kanye kept casual in his signature leather trousers and gold chains tucked under his grey t-shirt with his blazer to match. Are you a fan of this stylish couple?!

ROCK IT OR KNOCK IT: Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Cruel Summer’ Shoe for Kanye West

It looks like Giuseppe Zanotti is at it again for for Kanye West, this collaboration is for the launch of G.O.O.D. Music‘s Cruel Summer.  Which I'm addicted to and can't stop telling my friends how much they need this album in their lives. The porcelain wreath/Grecian statue elements pays homage to creative artwork on the cover of the album (see below).

Kudos to Mr. West as this is the second collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti, the first debuted at Paris Fashion Week Spring 2012. Although there is limited information on launch date or price, I'm sure his other girlfriend and muse, Kim Kardashian will be wearing these soon. Stay tuned!

If you need a laugh today, I'M HERE to give you that laugh-out-loud funny you need. Everyone has been whispering  talking about the Kim-Ye black/white fashion movement, so comedian Kevin Hart decides to join the fashionable couple as the new "power trio" while prepping for the MTV Video Music Awards. This is a great promo for the awards that is set to air live on September 6th (the first day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week). I'm excited for the VMA's this year! Be sure to tweet me!

ROCK IT OR KNOCK IT: Nike Air Yeezy II by Kanye West

This post is definitely dedicated to my male followers especially those "sneaker heads" out there! I recently spotted the Nike Air Yeezy II by Kanye West online and wanted to know if any of guys would rock these? With the success of Kanye's Nike Air Yeezy I, it's great to see that he's releasing another shoe....and if you're lucky hopefully you can get your hands on them!

The Nike Air Yeezy II was inspired by the "late 1980′s basketball foundation of the original Nike Air Yeezy, the II is built on the Nike Air Tech Challenge II tennis shoe outsole and celebrates iconic Nike Cross Training silhouettes with the addition of the molded forefoot strap."

  Every part of the shoe was fully thought out, from the "hand skived anaconda textured leather quarter panels and apparently the "fit was essential to the design with the goal to make the shoe slimmer than the original by tailoring it to Kanye West’s foot." Oh he fancy huh?! 

I hear that they look like "two small dinosaurs on your feet." Although, I loveeee a 4inch or higher heel, I can appreciate a good looking shoe especially on a man's feet so I'm kind of loving these. If your definitely thinking about grabbing the Nike Air Yeezy II in the "Platinum" also consider copping these in the Black edition (seen above & below). Mark your calendars as you will be able to purchase your own pair of Nike Air Yeezy II on June 9th for $250!

Not sure if you've been hiding under a rock, but it's official my favorite dash doll Kim Kardashian is dating Rapper and Fashion Designer Kanye West! They have been spotted in and around NYC this past weekend and happened to really look happy together. The couple looks comfortable and fashionable of course while perusing the streets of NYC. I'm a lover of both Kim and Kanye because so I'm excited to see more of them even if it maybe a publicity stunt. Kanye West releases new line of Silk Scarves

Anyone who is a fan of Kanye West knows that he loves art & fashion. So it comes as no surprise that he decided to release his own line of silk scarves. Mr. West has teamed up with French art and design partnership M/M (consisting of Mathias Augustyniak and Michael Amzalag) to create a limited edition line of scarves that feature the original artwork by George Condo for his platinum selling album My Beautiful Dark and Twisted Fantasy. The rapper claimed that the artwork was banned because many retailers such as Walmart disapproved of the album cover art that depicted a naked Phoenix laying on top of his naked body. Mr. West eventually replaced the artwork, but is now releasing 5 silk scarves that are based on Condo’s controversial paintings, which he named Power, Phoenix, Ballerina, Face and Priest. Each scarf is priced at ($364) and only a 100 of each will be available on Monday, May 9th through MMParis.com and Colette.fr.  Which is your favorite?
