HAUTE FRIDAY: Serena William's Version of "711" Grand Slam for VOGUE Magazine

It's been a very exciting week for me and I can't wait to show you guys what I've been up to! I've always been told that when it's your time to shine....SHINE. My time has finally come and I'm ready to move in the direction of my dreams. Recently, I ran across this video of Grand Slam champ, Serena Williams doing a version of Beyoncé's 711 video for her Vogue Magazine photo-shoot. This video is exactly how I'm feeling today...Happy Friday guys! xo

SHE WON: Lupita Nyong'o Makes Her First Vogue Cover, July 2014

 

The "It Woman" of the year, Lupita Nyong'o rightfully got her first cover of Vogue Magazine's July 2014 issue and of course she looks stunning. The Oscar winner and Fashion Icon on the rise has made herself easily the most watched and talked about woman of the year. Her breakout role in 12 Years As A Slave was ground breaking and moving (seriously, one of my favorite movies!) but it was also her glamorous looks on the red carpets that caught my attention. For this issue of the popular fashion bible, Vogue Magazine Lupita was photographed by Mikael Jansson with a rather unique and fitting theme of Egyptian royalty. I mean she is American royalty in my eyes and at 31 years old, she's definitely making it look easy to be so effortlessly fabulous. KIMYE NEWS: Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Cover VOGUE, April 2014

 

The moment we've all been waiting for, well definitely Kim & Kanye have been waiting for has finally arrived. The "World's Most Talked About Couple" covers the fashion bible, VOGUE April 2014 issue and dare I say I FREAKIN LOVE IT. After almost shattering the internet last Friday with the release of the cover they also released Behind-The-Scene footage of the happy couple and super cute Nori on set. With just less than 2 months away from their wedding in Paris the couple looks to be living the dream right now! Check out a few pictures from their photo-shoot & BTS below:

BEST DRESSED: The 2013 CFDA Awards

Last night the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards took place at Lincoln Center in New York and of course the red carpet was filled with glitz and glamour. Check out my favorite looks of the night:

2013 MET GALA: Best Dressed

It's that time again where our favorite and I mean ABSOLUTE favorite fashionista's and trendsetters walk the red carpet at the Costume Institute Gala for the “PUNK: Chaos to Couture” exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art also known as the MET Gala. This year Anna Wintour decided to go with the "Punk Era" of fashion, which I loved but was slightly disappointed in the choices that were made by some (not sure if everyone got the memo). However, some of the trendsetters rocked their favorite designers looking PUNK Couture of course. See who made my best dressed list below:

Floral Queen of the night, Anna Wintour in CHANEL.  

Anne Hathaway wore a sheer Valentino gown.  

 Special Guest of the Night, Beyonce looked like a Givenchy Goddess.

 

My favorite girl, Blake Lively wore Gucci Premiere for the night.

 

Anja Rubik stole my heart in this leather dress by Anthony Vaccarello

Coco Rocha took her look to the next level in Emanuel Ugaro  

Fab-Mommy, Jessica Alba sported a leather gown by Tory Burch 

Jessica Biel was decked out in all black wearing Giambattista Valli

 

Gwen Stefani wore an interesting look by Maison Martin Margiela

Kate Beckinsale looked super punk in this Aberta Ferretti dress. Love her hair! 

Olivia Pope...oops I mean Kerry Washington got it 'done' in this Vera Wang creation.  

The creator of Punk, Madonna showed off some of her assets in this Givenchy blazer. I think she got the memo...what you think?

 

Jennifer Lopez NAILED it as always in a Michael Kors gown. Her makeup is gorge!

Miley Cyrus is quickly becoming my new favorite, she wore a Marc Jacobs gown. I'm in love with this entire look! She got the memo as well.  

My frosty favorite, Nicole Richie also captured the Punk to Couture theme in this TopShop gown.

 

Nina Dobrev looked AMAZING in this Monique Lluillier pants suit/dress! Totally dying! 

Rooney Mara looked like a Goddess in Givenchy as well. I need that lipstick..STAT! 

Carrie Bradshaw....I mean Sara Jessica Parker came to the MET and served it in a Philip Treacey headpiece, Giled Deacon gown and custom made Louis Vuitton boots. Oh the GLAM! 

Taylor Swift definitely got a round of applause from me in this J. Mendel gown! SWOON!

FLOTUS FAB: Mrs. Michelle Obama Covers VOGUE, April 2013

 

FLOTUS, Mrs. Michelle Obama has made her way back to the front cover of VOGUE Magazine in impeccable style of course. According to Robin Givhan of the Washington Post, "She’s wardrobed from her own closet in a Reed Krakoff sheath in cerulean blue with a flourish of purple at the neckline." How gorgeous does Mrs. Obama look? I'm digging the bangs and love that she always keeps it classic. Effortless! You can pick up the magazine on stands in just two weeks! Spring is on it's way :)
