Nicki Minaj Goes Solo for MAC Viva Glam Campaign
Is Lavender the new Pink? According to the Barbie, Nicki Minaj this is rumor is TRUE! The Rapper/Perfumista/American Idol Judge tweeted to her Barbz, “Ready for my new VIVA GLAM lipstick? I’m going solo as MAC’s VIVA GLAM girl beginning February 2013!!! #LavenderIsTheNewPink” This is the first campaign that Nicki is flying solo for MAC Viva Glam and I must say that I'm loving the lavender lipstick already. All proceeds will go toward helping women, men and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. The limited edition will be available February 9, 2013 through August 2013. I can't wait for February :)

Barbie Fanatic's you can buy your own Nicki Minaj barbie for yourself! Mattel will make a one-of-a-kind Nicki Minaj Barbie doll available for auction at CharityBuzz.com. The doll will be showcased at Divine Design's five-day event and gala at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. Bids start now and ends Dec. 19 and will start at $1,000.....yess you saw correctly! LOL! But, all of the auction's proceeds will benefit Project Angel Food, which provides food for men, woman and children affected by HIV and AIDS.

Our favorite barbie is all dolled up tribal painted up for the February issue of V Magazine. The cover story is called, "The Rise and Shine of NICKI MINAJ" and I'm definitely respecting her craft more and more these days. Not only has her "PINK FRIDAY" album gone platinum she has managed to partake in business ventures such as MAC Cosmetics very own beauty line. Gotta love a girl with drive & determination!
