Andre 3000 Joins Gillette ‘Masters of Style’

Rapper and fashion designer Andre 3000 among Hollywood's hottest actors Adrien Brody and Gael Garcia Bernal have been signed as the “Masters of Style” to promote a new facial hair-styling tool from Gillette. The launch of the Fusion ProGlide Styler is a three-in-one facial hair styling tool for men. Gillette will also introduce Fusion ProGlide Clear Shave Gel, a non-foaming shave gel that allows men to see where to trim and edge their facial hair, as part of the launch. Gotta love a man that cleans up nice! Super glad to see Andre 3000 in the limelight and becoming a Master of Style. Andre 3000 says, “I feel that personal style should always reflect who you are and be constantly evolving," said the Outkast member in a statement. "Being part of Gillette's ‘Masters of Style' program was a natural choice for me because I enjoy the freedom of changing my appearance to suit my mood." Go Andre 3000!

Kimora Lee Simmons Shinto Clinical Set To Launch!

Shinto Clinical by Kimora Lee Simmons is almost here. Take a look at this article about its launch from today’s Women’s Wear Daily:

"Kimora Lee Simmons, who has put her name on six fragrances with thoughts of a seventh and has dabbled in the color cosmetics market, is stepping into the skin care business with a worldly attitude.
For her debut, Simmons has developed a nine-item treatment line called Shinto Clinical, which is designed to encompass cultural elements of the East and the West with a dash of humor thrown in. “This line is about their Eastern allure of diet and beautiful skin. It’s based on cultures that live from the sea,” she said, ticking a list of ingredients such as fish oil, pearl powder, omegas, beta glucan, mushroom and Wakame kelp extract. “The Western [influence] is the medicine, the efficacy, the delivery and the clinical results. That’s why we call this Shinto Clinical; this is really a clinical range.” Shinto means “of the gods,"she noted.

"Simmons said she learned about the necessity of brand building while launching her color brand at Sephora. “You have to know, you have to support, you have to be able to educate and you have to teach,” she said. “You have to be responsible for all that, not [the retailer]. You have to plan it out. There is KLS Cosmetics still scraggling around. But it needs to be revamped and redone, so that will be after this."
