Tips for Holiday Shopping!

Happy Holidays!!

Tis' the season to shop, be happy and celebrate many favors in our lives! With the holidays approaching, I've begun to make a Christmas list for my dearest loved ones and it occurred to me that I need to start Holiday shopping soon. I'm a very last minute person, so I have decided to quit my old habits and start planning NOW. I've come up with a few tips to make your holiday shopping less stressful and more resourceful. As the malls open up earlier and close later be sure prepared for the busiest time of the year. Check out my tips below:

  • Make a list! Never go into Holiday shopping blindly, it's beneficial and useful!
  • Get ORGANIZED. Avoid confusion and stress by organizing yourself before you do anything!
  • BUDGET your time & money. Spend no more than 2-3 hours in the mall and know your budget for each gift. *be careful not to overspend*
  • Go to the mall or department stores during the week instead of the weekend to avoid the crowds of people!!
  • Dress comfortably! When your shopping it's important to dress comfortably--leave the bulky coats in the car, leave the Christian Loub's in your trunk and bring your Coach wristlet instead of your big Louis Speedy..
  • GO GREEN! Its unnecessary for you to have a million shopping bags, try to be eco-friendly this year.
  • Have you tried online shopping? Sometimes online sites have the best steals/deals! Fashion For Thought...
  • Do-It-Yourself Wrapping! Don't waste time having ALL your gifts wrapped, why not spend some time with your family wrapping gifts and writing cards. Hit the "Dollar Store" ASAP!!
  • Save your receipts! You never know when your going to need them & don't forget to ask for gift receipts.
  • TREAT Yourself. Even YOU deserve a gift for all your hard work while shopping ; )
