Around 6:30am est Prince William married the beautiful Catherine Middleton. She looked stunning in Alexander McQueen and you could just feel the LOVE in the air. After a morning filled with love, I can't wait to see what the weekend brings forth! I'm looking forward to celebrating my friend's birthday and helping my little sister with Prom/Graduation stuff amongst trying to get some R & R! Oh yeah and I hope to feel 110% better ASAP, being sick is no bueno!

TIPS FOR GRADUATION DAY!

Happy Graduation to those have furthered their education in pursuit of chasing their wildest dreams! Champagne toasts you and I wish all the best in the future! With that said lets discuss the details of graduation, it is very necessary to choose the best kind of dress for your graduation day! I know plenty of people including my darling little sister who will be walking the stage in the few weeks! You MUST make sure that your wonderful day will be unforgettable, so why choose a fabulous dress that will transition from the ceremony to your graduation dinner/cook-out. I've taken some time out of my hectic schedule to send my closest friends that are graduating some dresses and give them advice on what to wear for their BIG day. So check out a few of my tips below.

 TIPS FOR GRADUATION DAY:
  • A suitable graduation dress that wonderfully matches with your personality is vital to give your courage and confidence. A woman must be courageous and confident, why not embrace that on this special day!
  • SAY NO to the mini-dresses! Yes you may want to exude sexiness but there's nothing like CLASS on graduation day.You want something comfortable and almost knee-length!
  • What Color Dress? You have to know what kind of dress requirement your college asks. Usually there are some rules that exist for students, such as the law college, they have special dress rules for their students. If that occurs just find a fabulous Aubrey Hepburn black dress!
  • BLACK HEELS are a must! Find a pair of classic black heels whether they are Steve Madden, Yves Saint Laurent or even Jessica Simpson. Lets aim for 3inches or higher depending on your comfort level.
  • Minimal make-up is always "just enough". Keep it fabulous with just minimal eye make-up and a neutral look. *Carry a mini make-up kit with just a lipgloss & maybe blush to keep the shine off*
  • Jewelry/Accessories should be elegant and tasteful! SAY NO to the plastic accessories from the Beauty Supply Stores or Claires. Aim for Macy's or H & M's pearl earrings and simple necklace to bring together your look.
  • "LONG HAIR DON'T CARE"....It doesn't matter your hair length or texture, just have it simple and chic. I recommend straightening it so your cap will sit perfectly on your beautiful head BUT if your natural and want to rock your lovely curls/twists/locks then use Bobbie pins to keep your cap centered!
  • Carry the pocket size Kleenex of tissues so that your make-up won't smear and you can keep those beautiful eyes under control, my bestfriend always say "Your eyes aren't beautiful until you've cried"
  • Last but not least, PERFUME! Don't forget to dab/spray on your favorite smell. Trust me you'll feel like your unstoppable!
CHEERS TO YOU!!!
