Harlem resident Andrew Lewis came up with the invention after watching men in drooping trousers struggle to keep them up as they climbed the steps at the 145th St. subway station. Now men everywhere can buy the new menswear accessory called Subs, a part garter belt and part suspender that works by using clips connected to elastic bands to hold up your pants, kind of like a garter.
Senator Anti-Sagger Eric Adams has started a campaign to “bag the slag”.
