WASHINGTON, DC, (30 March 2011)– Tashia Senn, one of DC’s most innovative emerging luxury designers, Spring/Summer 2011 collection will be featured in Worn Magazine’s upcoming issue. Worn Magazine is a premier DC-born publication intended to bring awareness of local fashion and art to the District and to the nation. The new issue will feature 20 pages of fashion photography, clothes from 21 local designers and boutiques, interviews with 5 local artists, and more. This 1950’s inspired collection reflects the elegance of Hollywood starlets Rita Hayworth, and Dorothy Dandridge. Senn has cultivated her own personal iconic fashion sense, into eclectic modern combinations, creating a fresh and stunning turning point in luxury fashion. Exquisite rich components of french lace, sequins, silk chiffon and crepe de sheen, silk satin and jersey, silk brocade and charmeuse adorned with romantic embellishments using hypnotic Swarovski crystals and semi-precious stones. The collection is a juxtaposition of classic and modern, infused with original chic details. The result is collection boasting a classic modernity with a very chic, relaxed, international attitude.
