This Saturday, November 19 thousands of Washingtonians will join Fannie Mae’s Help the Homeless Program at the 2011 Walkathon on the National Mall. All proceeds raised will go to support the nearly 12,000 adults, teens, and children without homes in our community. Last year they came together to raise $6.5 million for 118 regional non-profit organizations dedicated to ending homelessness in the area.
Help spread the word by using the hashtag #homelesswalkdc when tweeting about the Walkathon and be sure to "LIKE" them on Facebook.
