In 1997, CHANEL bought seven workshops (Desrues, Lemarié, Lesage, Massaro, Michel, Goossens and Guillet) who are responsible for the beautiful designs behind the luxurious label. The annual show is of course noone other than Karl Lagerfeld, as a tribute to those "gifted craftspeople that make CHANEL happen." With inspiration from the "Paris-Bombay," Karl was able to do what he could by taking us on a magic carpet ride to the Rajasthan, while keeping that chic CHANEL signature. Umm hello, we love that!
