EVENT ALERT: Intermix Georgetown Event benefiting Capital Breast Care Center

Dive in to holiday shopping this week at Intermix in Georgetown for an evening of bubbly, delicious bites and picking out your festive frocks with 10% of the proceeds going to benefit Capital Breast Care Center. Be sure to join MyDCStyle, Stef Woods, breast cancer survivor and author of City Girl Blogs, for this fantastic event and to raise money for an worthy cause! The CBCC was founded in 2004, Capital Breast Care Center (CBCC) provides comprehensive, culturally appropriate breast cancer screening services and promotes health and wellness to women in the DC metropolitan area, regardless of their ability to pay. Many do not know this, but DC has some of the highest rates of breast cancer mortality in the entire nation. Women in DC face numerous barriers to receiving breast cancer screening services and breast health education, especially low-income, minority women. CBCC provides a safe place women can go to receive critical mammograms and health education.

Intermix is definitely one of my favorite stores, so I'll definitely be there to support a worthy cause, will you?
