Congrats to the newlyweds for the second time! How gorgeous is NeNe? She wore a $50,000 Baracci dress during the ceremony and a beautiful headpiece while her hubby, Gregg wore a black and white tuxedo. The wedding was pure Hollywood Glam as they decked out the InterContinental hotel in the tony Buckhead section of Atlanta. Happy First Day of Summer: My Summer 2013 Bucket List!

How exciting is it that Summer is finally HERE?! I'm beyond excited for Summer since it's my last semester of school and my Spring into Summer days have been nothing but fun times. All I want to do is work hard and PLAY HARD!!! Seriously, I'm here for all the good times ahead so I came up with a "Summer 2013 Bucket List" of 27 (I choose the number 27 because that's my current age so it seemed only right) things I NEED TO DO. Sharing is caring so check out my list below:

MY SUMMER 2013 BUCKET LIST:

 

1. Laugh so hard that my stomach hurts and tears come down my face.
2. Attend a baseball game....Go Nats!
3. Smile even when it hurts, smile even when it's hard, and smile when life is good.
4. Donate my time and money to those less fortunate.
5. Drink more water than alcohol.
6. Go to Happy Hour with Happy People!
7. Hug my nieces and nephews at least 100 times!
8. Pray more, worry less.
9. Make going to the pool my favorite hobby.
10. Attend at least 2 concerts.
11. Brunch SO hard. 
12. Go bike riding around the city.
13. Wear a bikini at least once every two weeks.
14. Watch the sunrise/sunset.
15. Kiss someone I LIKE!
16. Get a piercing.
17. Go to the spa at least twice!
18. Surprise someone I love, adore and admire :) 
19. Graduate from Grad School!
20. Wear short shorts with really high heels. 
21. Go to the beach.
22. Take a road trip with friends.
23. Watch fireworks.
24. Go to the Winery.
25. Cook something.  
26. Movie date.
27. Take a vacation.

Do you have a Summer Bucketlist?! I'm confident that I can definitely accomplish almost all of these items...but who knows! I'm totally excited to kick off the first weekend of summer because I'll attending a wedding and of course trying to make my way to the pool since it will be beyond beautiful this weekend. It was like a "night of champagne" for Rapper & Owner, Jay Z celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the 40/40 NYC club with his beautiful wife by his side and a host of A-list friends! Time surely flies by, I can't believe it's been 10 years. Congrats to the Mogul, he's definitely taking over these days. Check out my favorite looks of the night below:

WHAT I WORE: Father's Day Sunshine

Last weekend was Father's Day weekend and I got the chance to spend it with my Daddy of course. We kept it pretty low-key this year and went to The Carlyle Suites Hotel for a bottomless brunch (SO AMAZING!) with the family. Since it was a bit dreary that day I decided to wear a little bit of color to brighten up the day. Get the skinny on my look below:

How amazing is a Father that protects, provides and love his family. Ever since I was a little girl my father has been such a great inspiration in my life. I'm forever grateful for the long chats, stories and the important emphasis of education and unconditional love that he gives. I owe him so much as he has instilled in me the principle of family and travelling the world. I thank God for him and my grandparents for giving me such an awesome man in my life. He's my favorite guy in the world, DUH! Excited to spend some quality time with him and my family this weekend :)

The baddest superstar, Rihanna also known as 'Ri Ri Woo' is definitely making her mark in the beauty industry as she is set to release her second MAC collaboration. After the Brooklyn debut of the RiRi Woo lipstick last month, and selling out in 2 hours it's only right that she's back with more!

Here is the full collection that you've been waiting for, set to launch on June 18th (save-the-date and set your clocks). The RiRi Woo, Heaux and RiRi Boy lipsticks are accompanied with the Hibiscus Kiss blusher and the Barbados Girl Lustre Drops highlighter. How great is this collection?! Me likey alot. RECAP: D'Milikah's Splashes on the Waterfront Runway Show

On Wednesday, June 11th I attended the D'Milikah's Splashes on the Waterfront runway show at Nick's Riverside Grill in Georgetown Waterfront. The designer showcased the new High Summer Collection with a sneak peak of our new menswear line along with a special performance from the capoeira group Candieas. I'm all about finding the right swimwear this summer as I'm planning a few trips to keep me sane while I'm school this semester. Are you getting that beach body together? The collection was inspired by....BRAZIL! Can you tell? I've been on the hunt for the perfect Brazilian cut bikini since my birthday so I was definitely loving the bikini's from D'Milikah's collection. Check out Fashion blogger, Ashley Gaga rocking that yellow high-waisted bikini :)

 

Two of my girlfriends joined me for runway show! We sipped on speciality drinks and copped a cute giftbag. Of course, my day is never over as I had to high-tail it to my nephew's graduation dinner! It was such a busy Wednesday but I got to spend it with family & friends...what more can a girl ask for?
