Happy MLK Weekend!

In all that you do today, tomorrow, and the next days that you are "off" from work or relaxing. Take time to recognize the holiday and cherish the ideologies & principles instilled in a great man by the name of Martin Luther King, Jr. Be sure to understand that this is NOT just another holiday where you party your life away and continue to live your life without a care in the world, this is a time to reflect on a man who fought for everything we have today...FREEDOM, PRIDE, DIGNITY & JUSTICE. Make him proud as he looks down on us! Let's try to honor this holiday in the way that he would expect us too. Last but certainly not least, make sure you instill Dr. King's life lessons into your children, nieces, nephews, or even peers..Its NEVER to late to have a DREAM!

My favorite Martin Luther King quotes:

"Now, I say to you today my friends, even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: / we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

"Nonviolence is the answer to the crucial political and moral questions of our time: the need for man to overcome oppression and violence without resorting to oppression and violence. Man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love."
"Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice. Justice at its best is love correcting everything that stands against love."

"If a man hasn't discovered something that he will die for, he isn't fit to live."

....Have a great weekend & remember that our today affects our tomorrow!

*bows out gracefully*
